His Secret
Chapter 14
The Lion and a New Heart
[28] All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. [29] At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. [30] The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
[31] While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. [32] And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
[33] The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. [34] And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: - Daniel 4:28–34
What we are about to discover is that king Nebuchadnezzar is a composite of the Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude. He will have attributes of all three and after 7 times passes over him, he will be freed of the Scorpions and the Serpents and be representative of the Multitude. The Lion will also receive a new heart. Let’s see how this process works.
The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? [31] While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. – Daniel 4:30, 31
First of all, this happens one year after he actually had the dream. King Nebuchadnezzar makes a prideful statement acknowledging himself as the one that has built the kingdom of Babylon giving no credit whatsoever to God. Since this was referring to the physical Babylon; will the spiritual Babylon show the same thing?
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: - Revelation 3:17
This verse is from the church of Laodicea. The seven churches of Revelation is the church of the modern day. The seven churches have within them the Multitude who is surrounded by the Scorpions and the Serpents that are outside of the 7 churches. The Multitude are the overcomers. This church, one of 7 snapshots of the spiritual Multitude in Babylon is pretty proud of herself. She doesn’t need the Lord for she has all of this wealth that she has accumulated. Her kingdom is departed from her.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. [8] Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. - Revelation 18:7, 8
This is spiritual Babylon. She has glorified herself, just as king Nebuchadnezzar did. She has lived deliciously; obviously proud of her wealthy status. She sees herself as a queen and not as a widow but as a married woman. (To the Lord) She doesn’t see herself as a whore yet. She is called the Whore of Babylon. She sees no calamities coming her way. She can’t see it now nor will hear it because she is blind and deaf.
The kingdom that she knows will depart from her. In one day, which is referring to the period of the Tribulation, she will see death, (Silencing of the Multitude) mourning, (Lamenting like a virgin for the husband of her youth) famine (Of the Word of God) and she shall be burned with fire by the Scorpions when they strip away all of her wealth.
Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children: [9] But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments. – Isaiah 47:8, 9
Here is another passage very similar to the previous one from Revelation. She dwells carelessly. What does that mean? The word carelessly has as one of its definitions; a place of refuge. [1] Does this phrase ring a bell? “When the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:” - Isaiah 28:15
The word refuge [2] has the exact same definition as the word carelessly.
She states that there is none else beside me. She just committed a big mistake. She is declaring herself to be mightier than God. Look at this next verse. The Lord reserves that description for Himself. Woe to anybody that uses those words for their kingdom; for it will depart from them.
Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. – Deuteronomy 4:35
She goes on to state that she will not sit as a widow; the exact same phrasing used by the Whore of Babylon. She states that she will not know the loss of children. Both of these come in a moment in one day. This too would be referring to the period of the Tribulation as being one day.
The definition for the word moment is very interesting. It means; a wink (of the eyes), i.e. a very short space of time:--instant, moment, space, suddenly. [3]
It shall come upon her suddenly and in a very short space of time. Both of these timing elements have been studied earlier in this writing. This moment within the day (Tribulation) comes suddenly and is a short space of time within the Tribulation.
The under-definition continues; properly, to toss violently and suddenly (the sea with waves, the skin with boils); figuratively (in a favorable manner) to settle, i.e. quiet; specifically, to wink (from the motion of the eye-lids):--break, divide, find ease, be a moment, (cause, give, make to) rest, make suddenly. [4]
We are back to the sea of Babylon; to toss violently and suddenly (the sea with waves). She is broken, she is divided and she is brought to rest or silence. This next verse confirms this definition. We have covered it earlier pertaining to the silence in heaven at the 7th seal. Sitting in silence is signifying their death and getting into darkness is signifying their imprisonment.
Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. – Isaiah 47:5
Are these verses that have just been quoted in Isaiah actually speaking about Babylon? The wording matches the verses in Revelation almost exactly. Let’s back up a few verses and find out who this is addressed to.
Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. - Isaiah 47:1
This confirms that this is Babylon being spoken about. The virgin daughter of Babylon is the virgin that is lamenting for the husband of her youth in Joel 1:8. The virgin daughter of Babylon and the daughter of the Chaldeans are signifying the Multitude who is the man child in Revelation 12.
“But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood” – Isaiah 47:9
These two things come upon Babylon, the loss of children and widowhood. When one thinks of these two things one sees that her children are going to be either killed or taken away, and she is going to lose her husband. Both of these are correct for the Multitude is barren. The Multitude does not produce any children for she is barren. She does lose her husband for she is lamenting for the husband of her youth which indicates that she no longer has a husband (Jesus) and is looking back at the time when she did have a husband in her younger days. But there are deeper meanings to these phrases which positively identifies who is being spoken about in these verses.
The definition for loss of children is; bereavement:--loss of children, spoiling. [5]
This definition has the word spoiling in it. Who is spoiled? The Multitude is spoiled by the Scorpions who have come to take a spoil from the Multitude by stripping away all of her riches and the increase of goods that she has enjoyed as she has stated in Revelation 3:17; “I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing”
The definition for widowhood is; bereavement:--widowhood. [6] The key clue for the identification is in the under-definition. It says; to tie fast; hence (of the mouth) to be tongue-tied:--bind, be dumb, put to silence. [7]
The word widowhood has within it a definition of, put to silence. Again, this is what we found in the 7th seal. Within the two things that comes down upon the virgin daughter of Babylon is spoiling and death. This is a continuing pattern that we have found over and over again. The Multitude is spoiled by the Scorpions and is put to silence by the Serpents.
This completely parallels king Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom when it is taken from him. He thinks pretty high of himself boasting about how well he has done, just as Babylon does. Both of them lose their kingdoms. The parallel doesn’t stop there. Let’s follow what happens to king Nebuchadnezzar next.
The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. – Daniel 4:33
Notice that the same hour was this fulfilled upon the king. Just like the hour of Babylon’s fall.
King Nebuchadnezzar is driven from men. The Multitude is driven from men or more accurately taken. They are taken into captivity by the Scorpions. The king ate grass like an oxen, his body was wet with the dew from heaven, his hairs were grown like eagles feathers and his nails like birds claws. There are too many clues in this room.
There are several different aspects to look at here. First of all, we can see all three groups within this passage: the Serpents as the eagles’ feathers, the Scorpions as the bird’s claws and the oxen as the Multitude. Where is the connection to the oxen?
When Jesus drove out the moneychangers (Scorpions) from the temple with a whip, there were doves, lambs, and oxen being sold as sacrifices for profit. Oh, that puts a different light on why Jesus was so upset and drove them out of the temple and called it a den of thieves. (Scorpions) The oxen are sold by the Scorpions for profit to the Serpents who will sacrifice the oxen (Multitude) in the service of their god.
Also, there is a passage in Malachi that is very fitting. This is speaking about the Tribulation, (The day cometh) it shall burn as an oven which is the fire that comes down from heaven and burns up 1/3 of the trees and all of the green grass of the Multitude. The proud and the wicked will be burned up, the branches and the root.
This would be referring to the Serpents (Proud) and the Scorpions. (All that do wickedly) They get burnt up when the judgement of God comes down upon them after they have done their dastardly deeds. Notice that the root is not left of the Serpents and the Scorpions. The root is left of the Multitude seen as the stump that is left in the dream of king Nebuchadnezzar.
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. [2] But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. – Malachi 4:1, 2
The calves in the stall are the Multitude that fear the name of the Lord. The Sun of righteousness (Jesus Christ) will heal them when they return to Him and they shall be nurtured like calves (Oxen) of the stall.
The Multitude are the oxen that are represented in what befalls king Nebuchadnezzar. The oxen (Multitude) eat the grass. Since the grass has been previously identified as the goods of the Multitude, then the Multitude is eating the goods of the Multitude. This doesn’t make any sense. It is the Scorpions that eat or consume the goods of the Multitude.
An item of note is that the tender grass where the stump is located represents the Multitude coming to the Truth. It is differentiated from the grass by not only the term “tender grass” but also by the definitions.
Since this now makes no sense with the Multitude eating their own goods, we need to go to the definitions of the words. When something that we read does not fit the pattern of everything that has been established, there has to be something wrong. Either in our understanding of what is being stated or within the wording that was placed when it was translated.
The phrase “and did eat grass as oxen” needs to be examined. The phrase and did eat means; accuse, devour, eat. [8] The under-definition means; to eat (literally or figuratively), burn up, consume, devour(-er, up), dine, eat(-er, up), feed (with), food. [9]
The definitions for and did eat are what one would expect. The only added definition that does follow the context of the word would be the word accuse. Why is the word accuse in this definition? We’ll have to keep that in mind as we look at the next definitions for the word grass.
The definition for grass is; a moth:--moth. [10] The under-definition is; probably to shrink, i.e. fail:--be consumed. [11] The next under-definition means; the constellation of the Great Bear (perhaps from its migration through the heavens):-- Arcturus. [12]
Yes, this is the right definition in the Strong’s for the word grass. If you will notice, there is no words in the definition that even resembles grass. The definition for grass is moth. This makes no sense. How did this happen? This is an obvious mistranslation of the word grass. I would have to agree.
It is the first one that I have found thus far in hundreds of hours of study on the metaphors. Why was this word moth translated to read grass? And why would Daniel place this word in for the word grass? These are some questions that need to be answered. Let’s keep that in mind and continue to the next word oxen.
The under-definition for oxen is; a bullock (as a traveler):--bull (-ock), cow, ox, wall. [13] The next under-definition means; properly, to turn, i.e. travel about (as a harlot or a merchant). [14]
The under-definition has some interesting words. To turn is exactly what the Multitude does when they turn back or return to the Lord. They travel about as a harlot within the church as the Whore of Babylon.
The oxen are the Multitude. They are the sacrifices of the Serpents, just as the oxen that the moneychangers were selling for profit in the temple.
Back to “and did eat grass as oxen.” When we look at the word grass, it gives us a definition of the word moth. What on earth does moth have to do with grass? The answer is nothing. The word used for the word grass in Daniel 4:15, 25, 32, 33, and 5: 21 is the word moth. There are 6 other places in the Bible that this same word is used and all of them are translated into the word moth. The book of Daniel is the only place where it is translated grass.
There are two questions that need to be answered here. First is why did the translators use the word grass for the actual word moth. And why did Daniel use this word moth?
Since the Bible is the inerrant word of God and He preserves His Word then we would have to come to the conclusion that Daniel used the proper word when He wrote it. Going from that premise, the translators were faced with a huge dilemma; how to use the word moth for the food that the oxen eat. The biggest problem that was obvious is oxen don’t eat moths. They eat grass. They must have thought that somehow the proper word was not used. They translated the word into the most logical word that would properly fit the context; the word grass. After all, this is what oxen eat, isn’t it? That would probably explain why it was translated this way.
Now, since this is the proper word, how do we render it? What does it mean? Why would an oxen eat moths? The word moth will be discussed more thoroughly in the Bear section of this writing. The moth is the bear. The bear is the Serpents. The moth is the Serpents. If the moths are the Serpents, then how does the oxen (Multitude) eat the Serpents? In a sense, they do. The persecution that comes against the Multitude by the Serpents will come back on them. The words that the Multitude speaks against the Serpents will be recorded on the annuals of the Tribulation. In a sense they do consume or burn up the moths. But we also know that the Serpents consume the Multitude.
In their consumption of the Multitude, the Multitude will also consume them.
And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. – Revelation 11:5.
During the course of the Serpents killing (Consuming) the Multitude, the Multitude will have the testimony of Jesus Christ. They will speak words to the Serpents accusing them of killing God’s chosen people, the spiritual Jews. The words that come out of their mouths is referred to in Revelation 11:5 as fire.
Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? - Jeremiah 23:29
The testimony that the Multitude speaks is the Word of the Lord. The Lord’s Word is as a fire. Fire proceeds out of the mouths of the Multitude and devours their enemies. The words that are spoken by the Multitude accuse the Serpents and will be used against them to convict the Serpents and the Scorpions in the day of judgement.
Going back to the rendering of the passage “and did eat grass as oxen” we can conclude that the word grass is defined as moth and that the oxen (Multitude) do eat moths. (Serpents) The words that are spoken accusing the Serpents will be the fire that devours them. Let’s look at the other 4 passages that uses the word grass that is defined as moth.
“And let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:” - Daniel 4:15
“And thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen,” – Daniel 4:25
“And thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen,” – Daniel 4:32
“And his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen,” – Daniel 5:21
The only real difference between these verses is the last one in Daniel 5:21. Notice that the beasts of the field (Serpents) is now said to be wild asses. The wild asses have been shown in a previous work [15] to be the same as the beasts in the field. The wild asses are another metaphor for the Serpents.
The Serpents devour the Multitude by murdering them and in the process the Multitude devour the Serpents by their testimony of Jesus Christ.
The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. – Daniel 4:33
Let’s look at some other aspects pertaining to the actual fulfillment of the dream. His body was wet with the dew of heaven. The Multitude will be wet with the dew of heaven, the dew of heaven being the Truth coming to them via the 144,000.
His hairs grew like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws. Here are the Serpents and the Scorpions that are mixed with the Multitude, the Multitude being the oxen. They are mixed all together yet they are separated by their specific identifications.
King Nebuchadnezzar is in this predicament till “seven times passed over him,” at which time his understanding returns to him and he is returned to his kingdom.
What is this seven times? Is it seven years? This is possible until you know the identifications and the time of this reenactment by the real players in the end times. What occurs to king Nebuchadnezzar is a shadow of what will occur to the Multitude. Babylon falls, then we see the three groups, the Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude. Seven times passes over the Multitude and their understanding returns to them. All of this occurs within the period of the Tribulation. The Tribulation is not seven years long. It is 3 ½ years long. So that’s out. What could the seven times passing over him be attributed to.
It somehow has to be connected to the understanding returning to the Multitude. In other words, after the seven times passes over them, they come to the Truth, and it takes the seven times passing over them to get them to come to the Truth.
But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; [15] And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: (The Multitude made a covenant with Death) [16] I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. (Scorpions)
[17] And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: (Serpents) they that hate you shall reign over you; (10 kings and the False Prophet) and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. [18] And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
[19] And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, (Scorpions) and your earth as brass: (Serpents) [20] And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. [21] And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
[22] I will also send wild beasts among you, (Serpents and Scorpions) which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, (Scorpions) and make you few in number; (Kill you) and your high ways shall be desolate. (All killed) [23] And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; [24] Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
[25] And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: (Ezekiel chapter 5) and when ye are gathered together within your cities, (Defenced cities) I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy. (Scorpions and Serpents) – Leviticus 26:14-25
[28] Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. – Leviticus 26:28
[33] And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: (Dividing of hair – Ezekiel chapter 5) and your land shall be desolate, (The Multitude is no longer there) and your cities waste. – Leviticus 26:33
[40] ¶ If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; [41] And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
[42] Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.[43] The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
[44] And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, (Scorpions and Serpent) I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God. [45] But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
[46] These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
– Leviticus 26:40-46
These passages in Leviticus 26 lay out the transgression that the Multitude is guilty of, not walking in the way of the Lord. This describes the punishment of seven times for their sins, and their repentance after the seven times has passed over them. They accept their punishment and then and only then does the Lord remember His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not: - Jeremiah 5:21
The Multitude is foolish. (5 unwise or foolish virgins) Their ears, eyes, and understanding is absent from them. When the Multitude repents, their eyes and ears are opened. Their understanding returns to them and they realize why all of these things have come upon them. When their understanding returns to them, they are returned to their former position; not back to their life that they had, but their position in the kingdom of heaven.
This next verse is confirmation that this happens to the children of Israel because they weren’t walking in His ways.
Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. - Isaiah 42:24
Jacob which is the same as Israel; is given to the Scorpions who spoil the Multitude and are the robbers of the Multitude. And we know that after the Scorpions are finished stripping them of their possessions and have placed in captivity that they will be handed over to the Serpents.
When the Multitude repents, and accepts the punishment for their iniquity, their understanding will return to them after they have been punished seven times for their sins as we can see in the following verse.
They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine. - Isaiah 29:24
The Multitude shall come to understanding. Now, let’s see what happens to king Nebuchadnezzar after 7 times passes over him.
And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: - Daniel 4:34
“And at the end of the days” is referring to “seven times shall pass over thee.” [16] When this is accomplished, king Nebuchadnezzar’s understanding returns to him. The same thing happens to the Multitude. After 7 times passes over them (punished 7 times for their iniquity) their understanding returns to them.
When king Nebuchadnezzar’s understanding returns to him; he transforms from a beast in the field to his former state as a man. He is no longer down on all fours as a beast but is standing on his feet as a man. The same thing happens to the Multitude. Remember the lion is made to stand upon his feet as a man? This lion was previously down on all fours as a beast.
The Multitude follows the same pattern that happened to king Nebuchadnezzar.
When the Multitude thinks of themselves as rich and increased with goods they fall down and become a beast. Look what happens when this occurs to king Nebuchadnezzar.
Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him. – Daniel 4:16
The king’s (Man’s) heart is changed to a beast’s heart until the 7 times passes over him. The king’s understanding then returns and he stands up as a man again. This would reverse the process and the beasts’ heart that he had would be changed to a man’s heart.
The first was like a lion, and had eagles’ wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. - Daniel 7:4
There is an additional clue within this verse. It states “and it was lifted up from the earth.” The lion (Multitude) is lifted up from the earth and is made to stand upon its feet as a man, and a man’s heart is given to it. How is it lifted up?
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: - 1Thessalonians 4:16
At the time of the blowing of the 7th trumpet all of the Multitude has been killed. They are the dead in Christ referred to in this verse. The dead in Christ would include not just the Multitude but all of the dead in Christ up to that point. The “dead in Christ” rise. The Multitude is also seen to “stand on the sea of glass.” [17]
The Multitude rises up from the earth and is made to stand upon his feet as a man and a man’s heart is given to it.
What the lion represents is the transformation of the church into the “Remnant of Israel.” Babylon believes that she is rich and increased with goods and shall see no sorrow. Babylon then falls. Babylon is given the heart of a beast. Babylon is comprised of the Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude. Babylon is the kingdom of heaven.
The Serpents are found in scripture to be the beasts of the earth. The Scorpions are referred to as the fowls of the heavens, but we can also find metaphors of the leopard and wolf that are identified as the Scorpions. These are also beasts. The Multitude can be found as calves and oxen. These are also beasts. All three groups as Babylon fall and all three groups are given the heart of a beast. This explains the metaphor of the lion as a beast.
Upon the fall, the Serpents and the Scorpions are severed out from the kingdom of heaven. Thus the eagles’ wings are pluck off from the lion which leaves the Multitude within that lion.
The Multitude has 7 times pass over them and then their understanding returns to them. They are lifted up (Their death and resurrection) and are made to stand upon their feet as a man and a man’s heart is returned to him.
The final product of the Lion that is standing is ‘The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.’ When the Multitude is transformed they put on Christ [18] who is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
The final stage of the Lion represents the Multitude. The Lion of Daniel parallels the White Horse of the 1st Seal of Revelation. The four horsemen parallel the Four Beasts of Daniel as you shall see.
Next we will look at the Second Beast, the Bear and see if this Bear parallels the Red Horse of the Second Seal of Revelation.
