His Secret
Chapter 10
Four Chariots of horses
And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. [2] In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; [3] And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses. [4] Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? [5] And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
[6] The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country. [7] And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.[ ]8 Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country. - Zechariah 6:1-8
There are four chariots of horses that come out from between two brass mountains. The word brass gives us our first clue. The brass is associated with the Serpents. What could these two mountains represent? We will cover that at the end of this writing on Zechariah 6.
These four chariots of horses are color coded for us. The first is red, the second black, the third white and the fourth grisled and bay. The grisled and bay are colors of two different horses that are in the fourth chariot.
The red horses lines up with the red horse of the 2nd seal. The black horses lines up with the black horse of the 3rd seal. The white horses lines up with the white horse of the 1st seal. The grisled and bay horses line with the pale horse which consists of Death and Hell of the fourth seal. In both the 4th chariot and the 4th seal you have two components which are comprised of the union of the Scorpions and the Serpents.
The definitions for the colors are keys to underscore their identifications. Red is; rosy, red, ruddy. [1] Its root definition means; to show blood (in the face), i.e. flush or turn rosy, be (dyed, made) red (ruddy). [2] The red horse is representative of the Serpents who spill the blood of the Multitude.
The black horse is defined as: properly, dusky, but also (absol.) jetty:--black. [3] Its sub-definition means; the idea of the duskiness of early dawn); to be dim or dark (in color):--be black. [4] The black horse is representative of the Scorpions. One of the metaphors for the Scorpions is the sun. The sun is turned black as sackcloth of hair, [5] and turns into darkness. [6]
White is defined as; white. [7] The under-definition is defined as; to be (or become) white. [8] The Multitude washes their robes and makes them white in the blood of the lamb. [9]
The grisled horses are defined as; spotted (as if with hail):--grisled. [10] Its sub-definition is; to hail, hail. [11] There can be no doubt which group this is speaking about. This is identifying the Serpents who are the hail of the 1st trumpet. If this 4th chariot has two horses and the grisled horse is representative of the Serpents, then the bay horse must be representative of the Scorpions.
The color bay is defined as; of a strong color, i.e. red (others fleet), bay. [12] The under-definition means; to be alert, prevail, (obstinate, speed). [13] There are some interesting definitions to look at here. To be alert signifies their role as a sentry or scout. They prevail against the Multitude. They are obstinate and are swift in their attack.
The first definition has an interesting word in it, the word fleet. Fleet can mean; to move swiftly; flit; fly. [14] This is an association with the fowls of the heaven and also the locusts. It can also mean; any group of; i.e. chariots acting together or under one control. Are we not looking at the four chariots in this portion of scripture? This fits in perfectly showing the union of the Serpents and the Scorpions. They are under the control of the Serpents and act together with them.
Back in Isaiah 21:9 the watchman sees chariots of horsemen, asses, and camels which have been identified as the three woes. [15]
An additional definition is; a set of fishing nets, pots, worked together. [16] That sounds familiar. The Multitude will be taken up in his net [17] by the Scorpions that worked together with the Serpents.
Go back to the definition of the color bay. When you look up that color bay in the dictionary it will give you a more defined color of reddish brown. [18] When we looked up the word in the definition for the pale horse, we found a definition of dun-colored. The definition of dun-colored [19] gives you a definition of; chestnut brown. When you look up chestnut [20], you will find the definition of; a reddish brown color of a horse. This is an amazingly accurate identification of the Scorpions that positively links to the second rider of the Pale Horse and comprises the union of the pale horse and the 4th chariot.
Both the fourth chariot and the fourth seal are comprised of two parties, the Serpents and the Scorpions. Both are identified specifically by identifications associated with them for they are one in the same.
I find it interesting that the black, white, grisled, and bay horses are mentioned in movement to a destination of a direction. The red is not mentioned except for the initial introduction. Why is that? Because, you should know who the red chariot of horses are and where they go. They are the Serpents and they go towards the south country. The Serpents are in the north country and they march forward towards the south country.
The directions of travel of these chariots and horses also give us additional clues. Let’s investigate further.
The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country. [7] And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. [8] Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country. – Zechariah 6:6-8
When you look up the words north and south you will find that north is connected to the left and south is connected to the right. One of the under-definitions for south is; to be right-handed or take the right-hand side:--go (turn) to (on, use) the right hand. [21]
If you look up the word north, there is no hint of it being associated with the left or left hand side. But when you go to the word left, you will find this; use the left hand or pass in that direction):--(go, turn) (on the, to the) left. [22]
There is still no hint of the word north. You will however find the word north in the under-definition for the word left. Its under-definition is defined as; through the idea of wrapping up); properly, dark (as enveloped), i.e. the north; hence (by orientation), the left hand:--left (hand, side). [23]
With these definitions in mind, the Scorpions are associated with the right hand and the Serpents are associated with the left hand. There are scriptures that refer to the right hand and the left hand. These scriptures are applicable to the spiritual Babylon spoken about in Revelation.
Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city. – Ezekiel 21:19
We need to focus on the spiritual interpretation of this verse. There are two ways that are appointed. Through these two ways, the sword (that goes after the Multitude) is wielded by the king of Babylon. This is a spiritual figurehead. He is the king of Babylon. He is the one that is in charge of the sword that comes after the Multitude. Then it states that both twain shall come out of one land. What does that mean?
It means that there are two of something that come from the same place. Then these two of something are told to choose a place. They are told to choose it head of the way to the city. One of the places that they go is to Judah in Jerusalem. Thinking in the spiritual context, they are on their way to the spiritual Judah and spiritual Jerusalem. This would be where the Multitude is located. We get a more complete look at who these two are in the next verse.
Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set. – Ezekiel 21:16
These two that come out of one land are told to go either to the right or to the left. In other terms, the 2/3 of the apostate church is given a choice as to whether they become a Scorpion or a Serpent. They are to go wherever their face is set or whatever path they are already on spiritually. The Scorpions choose to go to the right. The Serpents choose to go to the left. Both of them come out of one land, the land of the Edomites. The king of Babylon is the spiritual king of Babylon, He is the one that wields the sword at the head of the way. He is the one that gives the Serpents and the Scorpions their power to do what they are going to do. Spiritual Babylon and the king of Babylon will be covered more extensively in another chapter.
The black horses go into the north country for they are coming from the south where the Scorpions are. The north country is where the Serpents are located. The white horses follow the black horses into the north country. The Multitude follows the Scorpions into the land of the Serpents, for they are led into captivity by the Scorpions. This is a representation of the Scorpions handing over their prisoners to the Serpents. If you look up the definition for the word after pertaining to “the white go forth after them,” you will find the words; persecute and remnant. [24]
The grisled horses (Serpents) go forth toward the south country. This is the Whirlwind coming out of the north. They are coming towards the Multitude. The Multitude is trapped in between the two, yet they are in the south and they are in the north. You might say that the Multitude is in the northern part of the south and they are in the southern part of the north. They are right on the border of both the north and the south. Even their directions of travel tell us who they are once you have the proper identification.
The bay horse’s travel pattern is a bit different. Remember, the red horse and the grisled horses are one in the same. The black horse and the bay horse are also one in the same. Then how can the black horse (Scorpions) be going from the south to the north leading the Multitude into captivity and also be walking to and fro the earth?
The Scorpions are the locusts of the 5th trumpet. There are verses that have the phrase “running to or fro” or “run to or fro.” This is associated with the eyes of the Lord that walk to and fro the earth. Let’s look at this to get a better understanding of this concept.
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. - 2 Chronicles 16:9
The Lord’s eyes run to and fro. He searches the hearts of those that say they love him. He seeks those that are strong in Him and whose hearts are perfect towards Him. Notice that He then states that “thou hast done foolishly.” That leans towards the five unwise virgins, the Multitude. He then states that “from henceforth thou shalt have wars.” Could this be referring to the Tribulation? This is very possible for this actually connects with the 5th seal.
Look at the word “henceforth” signifying a point in time that the ones that are foolish will have wars. The war that they are involved in is the war that the Serpents and the Scorpions wage against them. It is actually multiple wars in one for this goes into the 7 spiritual kingdoms. More will be written on this in a future writing.
This word henceforth lines up with “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” - Revelation 14:13
The root word for the word henceforth in 2 Chronicles 16:9 gives us the identification of who this is speaking about. Within the root definition we find; to remove; specifically, to bedeck (i.e. bring an ornament upon):--adorn, take away. [25]
In one of the under-definitions for the word henceforth in Revelation 14:13, you will find the phrase take up or away. [26] Within both of the definitions from two different verses from two different languages; the Hebrew and the Greek, there is a direct connection to the Multitude that gets taken away.
The Multitude is removed. They are also bedecked after they go through their trial when the dead in Christ rise at the 7th Trumpet when they are given a crown.
The Lord uses unrighteous vessels to be His eyes that run to and fro the earth. Look at Satan in the book of Job. Satan goes to and fro the earth. [27] The Lord also uses the Scorpions to run to and fro the earth to show the Lord whose heart is perfect towards him.
And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them. - Isaiah 33:4
These are the Scorpions that are running to and fro like locusts gathering the spoil of the Multitude. These are the locusts of the 5th trumpet. Here is another verse that is referencing the Scorpions.
They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. - Joel 2:9
In this verse they are running to and fro in the city. They are entering like a thief so they can steal the possessions of the Multitude. The city that they are running to and fro in is Jerusalem. They are the thief in the night acting as unrighteous vessels.
There is also an amazing connection to the Scorpions within the definitions of scorpions in both the Old and the New Testament that will positively link the running to and fro to them specifically.
In the New Testament, an under-definition for the word scorpions is defined as; to peer about, a watch (sentry or scout). [28] The Scorpions are the eyes of the Lord looking about, they are a watch, a sentry or scout on the lookout for the Multitude.
In the Old Testament, the definition for scorpions is; a scorpion; figuratively, a scourge or knotted whip:--scorpion. [29] You won’t find the connection of running to and fro in this definition of a scorpion in the Old Testament. Where you will find “running to and fro” is in the definition of “scourge” which links to Isaiah 28:15 and the “overflowing scourge” that we covered earlier. In the definition of scourge is where we will find the link to running to and fro.
In the under-definition for the word scourge we find the following; to push forth; (but used only figuratively) to lash, i.e. (the sea with oars) to row; by implication, to travel:--go (about, through, to and fro), mariner, rower, run to and fro. [30]
The bay horse is the representation of the Scorpions that runs to and fro the earth as locusts (which they also are) to gather the spoil of the Multitude and bring them into captivity into the north country. This is how they can be running to and fro and still be leading the Multitude into the north country.
Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country. – Zechariah 6:8
The Scorpions that lead the Multitude into the north country to their deaths have quieted the spirit of the Lord. The Multitude that goes into the north country to their death also quiets His spirit. How is this? When the Lord brings down his wrath upon the Multitude, He is angry. As the Multitude comes back to Him and stands for the truth, there is a satisfaction that develops. His anger and fury is poured out upon them.
They are made righteous through the process and the whole process is coming to a close. As the deaths of the Multitude mount, and there are fewer and fewer until none are left, the Lord’s spirit is quieted. His anger and His wrath will dissipate towards them for they have shown their hearts to be perfect before Him and they are faithful unto the death.
The Lord is then at rest. Then His anger and wrath will be directed towards the Scorpions and the Serpents who will be recipients of the vengeance of God for being the unrighteous vessels of the Lord.
For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. – Deuteronomy 32:36
Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people. – Deuteronomy 32:43
These verses describe what transpires when His spirit is quieted. The Lord judges His people. He brings down His wrath and anger. When that is accomplished and there is not any Multitude left in prison or alive, and He sees that their power is all gone, the Lord repents. Let’s look up that word.
Repents means; properly, to sigh, i.e. breathe strongly; by implication, to be sorry, i.e. (in a favorable sense) to pity, console or (reflexively) rue; or (unfavorably) to avenge (oneself):--comfort (self), ease (one's self), repent(-er,-ing, self). [31] This verse just happens to be located in the “song of Moses” that the Multitude sings.
The Lord shows Himself in these verses. He shows the anger that He has for those that do not follow Him but say they love Him. He shows the comfort knowing that His people are standing strong and the pity when the last of them is gone. This also shows the anger that rises against the ones that did this to His people in the form of avenging the blood of the innocent, which is accomplished at the 7th trumpet.
Here is another passage of scripture that shows the process of the Lord’s judging His people, the execution of that judgement using the Serpents and the Scorpions, and the Lord becoming quiet when His anger dissipating.
And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy. [39] And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.
[40] They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords. [41] And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more. [42] So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry. – Ezekiel 16:38-42
The Lord’s spirit is quieted in the north country by the Scorpions bringing the Multitude into captivity and the Multitude’s subsequent actions. The Lord will no longer be angry against the Multitude and will receive them as His own.
What about the two mountains of brass spoken about in Zechariah 6:1? They have to be associated with the Serpents and since mountains represent high spiritual places, it must have something to do with their beliefs or doctrine. One thing that is represented here is that in between the two mountains that they come between there would be a valley. This would of course be the “valley of decision” where all of these chariots of horses make their choice. But there has to be something else that these two mountains represent.
All that we are studying about the end times are focused on the realization that the Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude are all connected to false theology and doctrine (Refuge of lies) that we covered in the 6th seal. This is the purpose of the Tribulation. It is the sorting out process of the wicked and the righteous. These two brass mountains must in someway represent false doctrine. The Serpents, Scorpions, and the Multitude in their entirety come from between those two mountains.
There is one more item to look at in this passage of the four chariots of horses. This actually gives us an additional identification as to what these four chariots represent and how they tie into the trumpet judgements of Revelation.
Zechariah sees these four chariots come out from between the two brass mountains. He asks the angel a question.
Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? [5] And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. – Zechariah 6:4, 5
This is stating that these four chariots are the four spirits of the heavens and that they are going forth from standing before the Lord. What could this possible be speaking about? We need to go to the definition of spirits.
The definition for spirits is; wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being (including its expression and functions):--air, anger, blast, X quarter, spirit(-ual), tempest, (whirl-) wind(-y). [32]
These four chariots, the Serpents, the Scorpions, the Multitude, and the confederacy of the Serpents and the Scorpions are the Four Winds. These four winds combined are the whirlwind, the tempest, the blast, the Lord’s anger, and His breath; that reaches the four quarters of the earth. It is His Spirit that is poured out that causes these things to occur.
The four winds are spoken about and are connected to the 1st four trumpets of Revelation. [33] The Multitude is scattered and gathered from the four winds. The four winds on a larger scale represent judgement. The Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude that comprise these four winds are within the Judgement of God. That is what the Tribulation is. Judgement upon the church for judgement begins at the house of God. [34] We will discuss a bit more on the subject of the four winds in an upcoming chapter.
These four color coded chariots of horses line up with the four color coded horsemen of the Apocalypse and they also line up with the color coded horses in Zechariah, chapter 1. Let’s take a look at these horses and horsemen in Zechariah chapter 1 and see what we can discover.

The definitions for the colors are keys to underscore their identifications. Red is; rosy, red, ruddy.
