The Trumpet Judgements Unveiled
Chapter 7
The Sun, Moon, and Stars
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. [40] There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. [41] There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. - 1 Corinthians15:39-41
There are many clues in this verse. Within this verse are your designations for the 1st third of the apostate, the 2nd third of the apostate, and the Multitude. The designations are as follows:
Sun (Celestial) 1st third of the apostate, a.k.a. Scorpions
Moon (Celestial) Multitude
Stars (Celestial) 2nd third of the apostate, a.k.a. Serpents
The Lord specifies there are different groupings of flesh and different glories of the sun, moon and stars.
The word glory is speaking about a person’s character, reputation, and standing in the Lord. [1] It is what a person stands for and the external manifestations of their character. Hence, what someone believes and thinks will show in the person’s attitude and actions. The Lord states “there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars.”
These are the signs that he is speaking about. The different glories of the sun, moon, and stars are directly associated with their standing in Christ, their character, and their external manifestation of that character.
He tells us that there are celestial (The spiritual sun, moon, and stars) and terrestrial (The earthly, physical) sun, moon, and stars. Celestial is speaking about the spiritual bodies in heaven, and terrestrial means the earthly physical bodies.
The celestial sun, moon, and stars are referring to spiritual groupings of people in relation to their spiritual standing. The terrestrial sun, moon, and stars are the earthly sun, moon, and stars that you physically see every day and night. As we go through the scriptures, you will see this develop.
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: - Ephesians 2:6
Celestial is in the definition of heavenly places. [2] Even though we are not physically in heaven, we are spiritually seated there based on our standing with Jesus Christ.
First, let’s look at the verses concerning the sun, moon, and stars that are darkened at the 4th Trumpet.
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. - Revelation 6:12, 13
Notice that the sun becomes black, the moon becomes blood, (Multitude’s blood), and the stars fall to earth.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven... - Matthew 24:29
Wait a minute, this verse in Matthew is saying that after the Tribulation the sun shall be darkened, the moon won’t shine and the stars shall fall from heaven. How can that be? All other verses concerning the sun, moon, and stars, most notable the 4th trumpet, says that this is part of the Tribulation.
Is this a contradiction? No, it is not. Whenever we run into a contradiction in the Bible, it is not a contradiction, but some type of misunderstanding on our part. There are no contradictions in the Bible. Therefore, we need to look at this verse more closely.
The word that we need to examine is the word after. Upon careful examination of this definition, bringing the definition of this word into harmony with this scripture and others; we find the word should be translated amid. The definition of the word after is; denoting accompaniment, amid, together. [3]
Let’s reread that verse using the word amid.
Immediately (Amid) the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven... - Matthew 24:29
Skeptics may say “This proves that the Bible was translated wrong. It can’t be trusted.” Wrong! Go away!
The Bible can be totally trusted. Your very life depends on it. From the putting of pen to the original manuscripts through the King James translation, all is the inspired Word of God. What about the mistranslation? Think for a moment. The Lord had His hand upon those that translated the Bible. Don’t you think that the Lord had His Word translated exactly how He wanted it translated?
This is what the opening of the books is all about. The Lord has kept certain things hidden until our time. That is how He accomplished it. The words weren’t translated wrong. Through the definitions we can now determine (With the books open and our understanding increasing) which words will bring the scripture into perfect harmony.

The Sun
Let’s begin to explore the sun that is darkened.
She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD. - Jeremiah 15:9
“She that hath borne seven” is most intriguing. Who has borne (Birthed) seven? Who is this study focused on? It is focused on the church and the divisions within the church. The church has birthed seven. This would be referring to the Seven Churches located in the book of Revelation, the seven churches that have the Overcomers (Multitude) in them.
“...She hath given up the ghost...” She is no longer alive' (Physically)
She (The church) languisheth. Languiseth means; to droop, by implication to be sick, to mourn, languish, be weak, wax feeble. [4]
I would say the church would be languishing at this point. The words in that definition are all over the prophetic books describing Judah and Jerusalem; the people whom the Tribulation envelopes. This verse is becoming clearer.
“Her sun is gone down while it was yet day...” harmonizes with “...And the day shone not (At the third overthrow)...” [5] The sun is darkened at the third overthrow.
The church is ashamed and confounded. This runs throughout the scriptures.
“...and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.” This of course would be the Multitude. The word residue has the word remnant within its definition.
Within the definition of residue, [6] you will find the following; (surviving, final) portion. This definition lines up with the 2nd Trumpet, “...And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died...” The Multitude is the surviving (Eternal life) final portion.
Jeremiah 15:9 is full of clues that interweave with other scriptures. The church is on its way toward judgement.
For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. - James 1:11
We have covered this verse previously. The sun, which represents the Scorpions rises and receives power at the 5th trumpet.
Referring back to Jeremiah 15:9, in which the church is ashamed and confounded, this next verse gives us a designation of the two groups, the sun (Scorpions) and the moon. (the Multitude) It gives us the designation as to which group is confounded and which is group is ashamed.
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed... - Isaiah 24:23
The definitions for ashamed and confounded are the same in Isaiah 24:23 and Jeremiah 15:9.The definitions have signatures within them. Ashamed has as one of its definitions; become dry. [7] Who becomes dry? The sun (Scorpions) becomes dry. Their branches are withered; they are then cut off and are burned.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. - John 15:6
Confounded has within its definition; reproach, be put to shame, bring reproach. [8]
And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. - Jeremiah 24:9
Reproach means; disgrace, rebuke, shame. [9] The Multitude is reproached. This word reproach runs through the Old Testament and most, if not all are referring to the Multitude.

The Moon
Immediately (Amid) the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven... - Matthew 24:29
The moon is used as a metaphor for the Multitude. The moon shall be darkened, [10] she will not give her light [11] and will be turned into blood. [12] The moon (Multitude) will be darkened, (Their lives will be taken) she will not give her light, (Her light will be extinguished one by one) and will be turned to blood. (The sword of the slain)
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? [18] And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? - 1 Peter 4:17, 18
In these verses, we have three groups; the righteous (Multitude), the ungodly (the Serpents) and the sinner. (Scorpions) How is it determined which group is which? By examining each one and comparing it to what is known about each group.
The righteous are easy to identify. The word scarcely gives you the indication that they barely make it. However, when we look at the definition, we receive more clarity.
The word scarcely means; with difficulty, with much work. [13] This gives us a different aspect. They receive salvation with difficulty, and much work. I would say going through the Tribulation and having to sacrifice your life for the sake of the Gospel would be a tough order.
They will follow through as the overcomers of the seven churches of Revelation, and “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” [14]
And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. [26] Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun... - Isaiah 30:25, 26
“The day of the great slaughter” is synonymous with the Great Tribulation. When the moon (Multitude) is darkened with the terrible trial they will partake of, they will return to the Lord. When they return to the Lord then “the light of the moon” that was darkened shall become bright “and shall be as the light of the sun.” For the lamps of the five foolish virgins will be lit with a reservoir full of oil, shining brightly. And that is when “the righteous shall shine forth as the sun.”
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. - Malachi 4:2
The Sun of righteousness is Jesus Christ. Notice the proper name of the Sun. This is when the Lord heals the stroke of their wound (Their reproach and death) and shall shine as the sun clothed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
How can the sun be referring to the Scorpions on one hand and Jesus Christ and the Multitude on the other? There may be a particular metaphor that is specific to only one of the groups, or a particular metaphor can cross over and identify more than that one group. The context of the verse will give you the identification of that particular metaphor.
What about the ungodly and the sinner? Where will they appear? They will appear before the Lord at the Great White Throne Judgement. The sinners are the Scorpions who are greedy and covetous. They betray the Multitude to fill their bellies, but it will not fill them nor satisfy their souls.
They shall cast their silver in the streets, (Just as Judas threw his silver away) and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity. - Ezekiel 7:19
The ungodly are the Serpents. They blaspheme the Holy Ghost. The Scorpions are also guilty of Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost for they are in collusion with the Serpents. They are both accusing the Multitude of evil when they are doing the will of the Lord.
While they blasphemy the Holy Ghost, the Multitude will be guided by the Holy Ghost through their trials.
But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. - Mark 13:11
Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost is attributing the works of God to the devil. This is exactly what the Serpents and Scorpions do to the Multitude. They will be speaking evil of them.
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. - Luke 6:22
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. - Matthew 5:11
I wouldn’t want to be in the Serpent’s or the Scorpion’s shoes on Judgement Day. Let’s take a closer look at the Serpents. (Ungodly) We find them in the stars.
The moon is used as a metaphor for the Multitude. The moon shall be darkened, [10] she will not give her light [11] and will be turned into blood. I wouldn’t want to be in the Serpent’s or the Scorpion’s shoes on Judgement Day. Let’s take a closer look at the Serpents. (Ungodly) We find them in the stars.
The Stars
The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? [4] Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD. - Obadiah 1:3, 4
We already have a couple of clues in this verse. They are prideful. They are in a high place. The eagle is also mentioned in this verse. Their connection to the stars is they set their nest among the stars.
Woe unto them for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. [12] These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; [13] Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. - Jude 1:11-13
There are several clues here. They have fruit, twice dead (physical and spiritual death). “Raging waves of the sea” are the multitude of the waves that cover Babylon. The word raging has an interesting word in its definition, the word wild. [15] Remember “the wild asses that stand in the high places.” [16] These are wandering stars which obviously don’t go to a good place.
The most important clue comes from verse 11 “...and perished in the gainsaying of Core.”
Core or (Korah) was an Israelite that rebelled against Moses and was destroyed by the earth opening up and swallowing him and his followers. [17]
The name Core [18] is of Hebrew origin. In the Hebrew it is the name Korach, or Korah. Korach in the Hebrew means ice, [19] hence, the hail (Rounded pieces of ice) of the 1st Trumpet is associated with the stars.
This clearly shows that the sun, moon, and stars are the celestial groupings of the church. They will all fall and they will all be darkened at the Third Overthrow. Let’s take a look at another group of metaphors that further identify the Scorpions, Serpents, and the Multitude.
