The Trumpet Judgements Unveiled
Chapter 4
The Second Trumpet
And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; [9] And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. - Revelation 8:8, 9
Looking through natural eyes we see what must be a large comet smashing into the sea, killing 1/3rd of the marine life causing the sea to turn into blood and 1/3rd of the ships are destroyed by the obvious tidal wave that this will create. But that is through the natural eyes.
Through spiritual eyes we see these things differently. Let’s explore the spiritual side of this trumpet. Since we know that these trumpets are judgements upon the church (Babylon), we must begin there.
Jeremiah, chapters 50 and 51 are a detailed account of the destruction of Babylon. There is a verse that has a burnt mountain in chapter 51.
Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain. - Jeremiah 51:25
This verse is speaking about Babylon being a destroying mountain. The Lord is going to roll Babylon down from the rocks, (High place) (Remember the wild asses that stand on the high places) and the Lord is going to make Babylon a burnt mountain.
The word burnt is defined as; burning. [1] The root for the word burnt has within its definition; to be set on fire, burn up, kindle. [2]
There is an interesting connection concerning this mountain. When you look up the definition for the word destroy for the destroying mountain and do a search of that word; this verse comes up.
And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile. - 2 Kings 23:13
Soloman built high places to Ashtoreth, Chemosh, and Milcom on the right hand (power) of the mount of corruption. The definition for corruption is the same word used for destroying mountain in Jeremiah 51:52. This is connected to the star of Solomon. The star of Solomon is connected to Babylon as an intricate part of the Abomination of Desolation which destroys the church. The church is destroyed by the destroying mountain. It destroys itself with an implosion.
The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof. - Jeremiah 51:42
Babylon is covered by the waves of the sea that comes upon her when she is plunged into the sea.
Babylon comprises the 3/3rds. All of them are rolled down from their high places as that burnt mountain, and the Lord deals with each group and each person individually.
Here is a verse that speaks about the Serpents.
Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD. - Jeremiah 49:16
We have some additional clues here pertaining to the Serpents. They are prideful, they are holding the high places; the clefts of the rock, the height of the hill, and they make their nest as high as the eagle. Remember the eagle is another signature for this group. Where the eagles are gathered is around the dead bodies of the servants of God.
The burning mountain (Babylon, the church) is cast into the sea. Why is this mountain cast into the sea? The burning mountain is cast into the sea to fulfill scripture.
For every one shall be salted with fire... - Mark 9:49. How are they salted with fire? The root word for sea is salt. [3] Between the burning mountain and the sea, you have two elements, fire and salt.
...and the third part of the sea became blood; - Revelation 8:8
The third part of the sea became blood lines up with the Multitude, the blood of the Multitude. Let’s finish the verse in Mark 9:49 “...For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.”
Who is the sacrifice that is salted with salt? It is the Multitude. The 1/3rd of the sea that becomes blood is signifying the murder and the sacrifice of the Multitude. Essentially, from the perspective of the Serpents, in the killing of the Multitude, they are making a sacrifice to their god. But the god they are making a sacrifice to is not the Lord God. They are sacrificing to their god that they are following by rebuilding the desolate places of Esau.
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. - Revelation 17:6
This verse is speaking about the Whore of Babylon. The Whore of Babylon is comprised of the ones that kill the Multitude and the Multitude is mingled with them.
And speaking about the Serpents that have the blood on their hands, this next verse is speaking about their ultimate end. Notice that they die the deaths of them that they killed in the midst of the seas.
They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. - Ezekiel 28:8
Those that are slain in the midst of the sea are the Multitude. The ones that lead them into captivity and then kill the Multitude will suffer the same fate that they imposed upon those that they oppressed and murdered. We have a clarifying verse that substantiates this train of thought.
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. - Revelation 13:10
Those that lead into captivity are the Scorpions. Those that kill with the sword shall die by the sword. They receive the same fate that they imposed upon the Multitude.
And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died... - Revelation 8:9
This part of the verse gives us a huge clue. Notice that it does not say that 1/3rd of the creatures in the sea died. It says that 1/3rd of the creatures that “had life, died.” Of the 3/3rds of the church, who has life, and dies? The Multitude has eternal life and dies a physical death. This means that the other 2/3rds of the creatures in the sea did not have life, for they represent the 2/3rds of the apostate and they will all go to hell. They do not inherit eternal life.
Just as the trees of the 1st trumpet represents people, the creatures (Fish) represents people. The 1/3rd of the creatures (Fishes) that had life died. We can find that men are also esteemed as the fish of the sea in this next verse.
And makest men as the fishes of the sea... - Habakkuk. 1:14
...and the third part of the ships were destroyed. - Revelation 8:9
Continuing in the 2nd trumpet we have 1/3rd of the ships that are destroyed. The ships are also a metaphor for people, of which 1/3rd or the ships (People) are destroyed. Let’s look at the definitions, for there we will find the answer to that question. This is most interesting.
Ships can be; a vessel, ship, or shipping, but it can also be a sailor. [4] A sailor is one that sails the sea; in this case, these sailors are sailing upon the sea of Babylon. When we go to the next definition down, we come to; (Through the idea of plunging through water) This definition reminds us of the mountain burning with fire cast into the sea being salted with fire. (Plunging into the sea) This definition also tells us to see 4130 and 4150. Let’s look at 4150 first.
4150 means; to plunge, i.e. launder clothing;--wash. This definition speaks about washing clothes. These next verses show that the Multitude has washed their clothes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. - Revelation 7:9
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? [14] And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. - Revelation 7:13, 14
4130 is the comparison word to 4126 and is very interesting. 4130 has as some of its definitions; specially, to fulfill (time), accomplish, furnish.
One of the definitions to fulfill (time) brings to mind another verse. And this verse just happens to be speaking about the Multitude. The times of the Gentiles is fulfilled by the Multitude being taken into captivity and killed by the sword.
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. [24] And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. - Luke 21:23, 24
The definition of furnish brings this next verse to the forefront. And wouldn’t you know it. This one is also speaking about the Multitude.
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. [10] So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. - Matthew 22:9, 10
The guests at the wedding are not the Bride. In the parable of the ten virgins, the five wise virgins go into the marriage; they are the Bride, the 144,000. The five unwise (Multitude) miss out on the wedding. They do eventually become the Bride of Christ and they are present at the marriage supper. [5]
Let’s take a close look at the guests (The Multitude) that the wedding is furnished with.
The word guests means; to recline (as a corpse or at a meal); guest. [6] As a corpse or at a meal?
It seems that the Multitude fits both of those. Those that “had life, died”, (A corpse) “And the wedding was furnished with guests”. (Guests that sit down at the wedding/marriage supper)
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb... - Revelation 19:9
This is referring to the Multitude that is called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. Most people think (As I have) that these that are called to the marriage supper are sitting at the table with the Lamb of God. What most do not realize is that the ones that are called to the marriage supper are actually the supper. The Multitude is sacrificed and are killed. They are blessed for they are called out of the apostacy, but what a high price they have to pay.
And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; [18] That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.- Revelation 19:17, 18
As will be demonstrated in a later chapter, the fowls of the heaven are the Scorpions that are called to the supper of the great God to feast upon the flesh of men. These men (And women) would be the Multitude. The Serpents are also present to finish off the Multitude after the Scorpions have done their damage.
And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire (The church/ Babylon) was cast (Plunged) into the sea: (So the church can be salted with fire, and the sacrifices can be salted with salt) and the third part of the sea became blood; (With the blood of the Multitude) [9] And the third part of the creatures (Men) which were in the sea, and had life; (Multitude) died; (Were murdered) and the third part of the ships were destroyed. (The Multitude was destroyed that the time of the Gentiles could be fulfilled and the wedding could be furnished with guests) - Revelation 8:8, 9
This is how we see the second trumpet through Spiritual eyes.
