The character that is dressed as the devil enters first. He climbs the large chair and takes his seat overlooking the podium and pews. A large cast of characters enter the stage. Others are dressed in the black robes the tails of scorpions with stingers protruding out of the back of their costumes. They also have four wings coming out of the back of their costumes. It appears to be insect wings. They are the wings of a locust.
The rest are wearing white robes. But these are not clean. They have spots and blemishes upon them. Their robes are dirty and stained. The interesting part though, is they have tassels of wheat affixed to their heads with a band. Each person in this group is carrying a small bag, brown in color, dangling by a drawstring, hanging from their belts. All three of these groups of characters are carrying bibles.

The Book (Bible)
The Book (Bible) tells you that character dressed as the devil takes his seat sitting atop his throne. He is ever present overlooking and influencing a large portion of the players on the scene.
The actors and actresses that are dressed in red robes with serpent’s tails represent the Serpents spoken about in the Bible. The ones dressed in black robes with scorpion’s tails represent the Scorpions spoken about in the Bible. The wings of a locust are also on their costumes. This represents the locusts with scorpion’s tails that come out of the smoke in the fifth trumpet.
The others wearing the dirty robes are representative of the Multitude spoken about in the Bible. The wheat that is affixed to their heads is a metaphorical identification that is used in the Bible to represent the Multitude.
The small brown bag holds some props that will be used a bit later in this scene. All of the characters portrayed are carrying Bibles. They all go to church and are professing Christians. The Serpents, Scorpions, and Multitude are all sitting in the pews of churches on Sunday mornings.

And there came out of the smoke locusts (Scorpions) upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions (Scorpions) of the earth have power.
