A Wheel within a Wheel
Chapter 4
The Two Time periods
The Tribulation is 3 ½ years long but within that 3 ½ years, there are 2 separate time periods spoken about all through the scriptures and more specifically by Jesus himself.
The Tribulation has a separation point within it. One of those time periods is referred to as “the time of the end” and the other time period is referred to as “the end.” There is a time period of 3 years which is ‘the time of the end” and the 6 months following is referred to as “the end”.
The Tribulation has a separation point within it. One of those time periods is referred to as “the time of the end” and the other time period is referred to as “the end.” There is a time period of 3 years which is ‘the time of the end” and the 6 months following is referred to as “the end”.
The Time of the End
Daniel refers to “the time of the end” in 2 different passages.
Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
Daniel 12:9 And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
From these 2 passages it is clear that at “the time of the end” the books will have the seal taken off and we will begin to understand the things that were hidden previously. We will no longer see through a glass darkly. Things previously veiled or obscured will come into clear focus. This new focus will occur during “the time of the end” which is 3 years. This is the time period where the 144,000 will arise to learn and grow to prepare for “the end” which is the Great Tribulation for the processing of the Multitude. (See Chapter 8 Section A “144,000” and Chapter 8 Section B "Multitude” for an understanding of these groups and what their roles are in this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel'.)
There are also references in the Old Testament and New Testament concerning this three year period.
Luke 13:6-9 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; (Jesus Christ) and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser (144,000) of his vineyard, (144,000) Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: (for three years ‘the time of the end’ the Lord can find no fruit coming out of the churches because they are totally apostate) cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? (Destroy it totally) And he answering said unto him, (144,000) Lord, let it alone this year also, (going into the 4th year – the last 6 months of the Tribulation) till I shall dig about it, and dung it: (This is referring to the 144,000 preaching and teaching the Multitude the error of their ways) And if it bear fruit, (the Multitude repent and bear fruit upward) well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. (The Serpents and the Scorpions do not bear fruit and they will be cut off and die.)
Jesus Christ does not see any good coming out of the churches for three years. He is ready to cut it totally off. The 144,000 however in the 4th year will preach to the Multitude and a Remnant will be saved. This also corresponds to Amos 7:1-8.
Amos 7:1-8 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings. And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part. Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD. Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
In this passage is relatively the same as the parable. When Jesus says to cut down the tree, that would be the total destruction of Israel. The Lord has always promised that He would save a remnant. In Amos 7:1-8, The Lord shows Amos the total destruction of Israel two times.
Amos pleads with Him referring to Jacob (Israel – the church) and he is so small (the remnant). The Lord repents and says that he will not destroy Israel utterly but will set a Plumbline (See the upcoming chapter “The Plumbline” and the series “The Plumbline” on the website) in the midst of Israel. That Plumbline is the line drawn in the sand.
Here is yet another reference. We have 2 passages, one in Isaiah and one in 2 Kings that are exactly the same.
Isaiah 37:30-32 And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof. And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward: For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
2 Kings 19:29-31 And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year (144,000 are just waking up) such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; (144,000 continue waking up and are learning) and in the third year (Now the 144,000 are coming into their roles) sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof. And the remnant (144,000) that is escaped of the house of Judah (the 144,000 fled Babylon and came out of the apostate church) shall yet again take root downward, (144,000 learn and grow) and bear fruit upward. (the 144,000 will birth the Multitude in the 4th year helping to bring in the harvest) For out of Jerusalem (apostate church) shall go forth a remnant (Multitude), and they that escape out of mount Zion: (144,000) the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
This passage in 2 Kings is speaking about the first and second year to eat that which is growing by itself. This would be the waking up to what the Lord is showing the 144,000. Then in the third year that we are to sow and reap, plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof. This would be the full understanding of where we are and where we are going. What is in front of us and what role we are to play and fulfill. This is what is occurring with the 144,000 during the ‘Time of the End’ preparing for the remnant that comes out of Jerusalem, which is the Multitude. This is also the Woman in the Wilderness giving birth to the man child.
Then it further states that the remnant that escapes out of the house of Judah, the 144,000 and out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, the Multitude, are both the remnant of Israel.
Here is another passage that speaks about ‘after three years.’
Amos 4:4-6 Come to Bethel (Serpents), and transgress; at Gilgal (Scorpions) multiply transgression (Do your dirty deeds); and bring your sacrifices (Multitude) every morning, and your tithes after three years: (The End) And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, (Wickedness) and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, (No Truth) and want of bread in all your places: (No Truth) yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
From the passage above, it is after three years that the sacrifices (Multitude) are brought in. They are offered with leaven which is the wickedness of the Serpents and the Scorpions. The killing of the Multitude occurs after ‘The Time of the End’ and occurs during ‘The End.’
Matthew 24:7, 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Jesus refers to the time of the end as the beginning of sorrows. The beginning of sorrows encompasses the three years prior to ‘the end.’ This time period of ‘the time of the end’ includes earthquakes, commotions, famines, pestilences but it is not referring to physical events as literal events, although this may also play out in the physical to some extent literally. The focus needs to be what is happening in the church as related to what is happening in the physical using the Spiritual Overlay. (See Chapter 6 'The Spiritual Overlay' of this book “A Wheel Within A Wheel”)
The earthquakes in divers places is referring to the earthquakes that are happening in the political and social world in which we live. There are earthquakes happening within the political scene with the battle between the Republicans and the Democrats. The famines are referring to the famine of hearing of the Word of the Lord. There is no truth being spoken in the churches as they are completely apostate.
The pestilences is referring to the sicknesses in our current society of crime, inflation, high gas prices, high food prices, etc. Commotions refers to the upheaval that is occurring with the people that are standing against ‘Woke’ the ‘sisters of perpetual indulgence’, and what is being taught in our schools, racism, transgenderism, etc. These are all the beginning of sorrows. (See more detail about all of this in the series “Signs of the Times” on the website www.thethreshingflooracademy.com.)
Matthew 24:7, 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

(See more detail about all of this in the series “Signs of the Times” on the website www.thethreshingflooracademy.com.)
The End
Jesus spoke of “the end” many times.
Matthew 24:6 "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel (See Chapter 5 'The Three Gospels' in this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel'.) of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
In Matthew Jesus begins His list of things that will be happening with “but the end is not yet. He goes through 8 verses of that list and then He says “and then shall the end come.” There is a definite time separation within these layouts in the Gospels for the Tribulation.
Mark 13:7 "But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet.
Luke 21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
What exactly is meant by ‘the end’. Jesus tells us in this parable.
Matthew 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest (the persecution, prosecution, and execution of the Multitude) is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Matthew 13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked (Serpents and Scorpions) from among the just, (Multitude)
Let’s now take a look at a passage in Ezekiel that has the term “the end” within it and a very detailed description of what ‘the end’ is about.
Ezekiel 7:1-6 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come. An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
The end is God’s Judgment upon the Multitude that He brings through the fire. It is their end that comes. The Serpents and the Scorpions will be extinguished after the Multitude is killed but the end is specific to the end of the Multitude and then the ending of the Serpents and the Scorpions.
The ‘Time of the End’, the three years prior to ‘The End’ encompasses many things. Knowledge shall be increased but it is only the 144,000 that will understand what is happening. (See chapter 3 of this book “The Paradigm Shift: New Thing, New Song, New Wine, New Cloth”)
In the ‘The Time of the End’ the Lord is moving the chess pieces preparing the Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude for their roles that each one fills. This is also the time of ‘This Gospel’ to be preached. (See Chapter 5 ‘The Three Gospels’ in this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel'.)
This Gospel is the teaching and training period for the 144,000 to be brought up to speed and acknowledging that they are one of the 144,000, which includes what their role is and what they will be doing during ‘The End.’ Their role is to show the Multitude the error of their ways by following after other gods and that they must repent and accept their punishment. See Chapter 8 Section A ‘The 144,000’ in this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel' for an understanding of who the 144,000 are.
And lastly, this three year period, there is a division that is occurring. The Serpents are gaining in power. The Scorpions will do what they will do and the Multitude is standing up against the evil that is prevalent in our society today. Each of the 3 groups and the 144,000 are stepping into their roles.
Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
When you look at both of these verses in Daniel and what Jesus spoke, they are speaking about the same thing. The Tribulation is the final act of the Lord dealing with His church. The Lord will save a Remnant. That Remnant includes the 144,000, but it also includes the Multitude.
The end is the finalization of the Kingdom of God. It began with Adam and Eve and ends with the Tribulation as you will see in this next verse.
1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
