The Trumpet Judgements Unveiled
Chapter 2
The Four Winds into the Whirlwind
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. [2] And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, [3] Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. - Revelation 7:1-3
The four winds hurt the earth, the sea, and the trees. But the four winds (Trumpets) will not begin to blow until the 144,000 are sealed. The four trumpets are judgements and have within them, the 3/3rds of the church. There are clues and details in each one of the four trumpets that defines each of the groups and what happens to them during the course of the Tribulation, which we will investigate through the course of this study.
At the 5th trumpet, the physical destruction of Babylon begins. The 6th trumpet is coupled or joined to the 5th trumpet, and completes the destruction and desolation of the Multitude. It is a union between these two groups, the 1st and the 2nd third of the apostate that initiates and completes the process that fulfills each one of the four trumpets.
We need to take another look at this verse that we studied earlier. “Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea!” [1] This is when the devil comes down to earth at the 5th trumpet, the first woe. Pay attention to the items listed, inhabiters, earth, and sea. Compare this to the first four trumpets
...Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees... Both the earth and the sea are mentioned in both of those verses. The only difference in these verses is the inhabiters in Revelation 12:12 and the trees in Revelation 7:3. That’s because the trees are a metaphor for the inhabiters of the earth. Substituting trees for inhabiters and inhabiters for trees, these verses match exactly pertaining to the objects spoken about.
With these elements matching, we know these two verses are speaking about the same thing. We need to look at the aspects surrounding each of those verses.
One verse is speaking about the earth, sea, and trees being hurt by the four winds that will be blowing on them. The other verse is speaking about the devil coming down at the 5th trumpet with great wrath to the inhabiters (Trees) of the earth and sea. There is a bit of a difference between these two verses concerning exactly what gets hurt.
The four winds hurt the earth, the sea, and the trees. The devil comes down to the inhabiters of the earth and the sea. He doesn’t hurt the earth or the sea, but the inhabiters of the earth and sea. There is an understanding here that goes into the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trumpets.
The 1st trumpet burns up 1/3rd of the trees and all the green grass. That would be conducive to the hurting of the earth. The 2nd trumpet is a great burning mountain cast into the sea and killing 1/3rd of the sea creatures. That would be conducive to the hurting of the sea. The 3rd trumpet hits the fountains of the waters and turns them bitter. This would also be conducive to the hurting of the earth.
At least the first three trumpets hurt the earth and the sea and the trees, but when we come to the 4th trumpet; the sun, moon, and stars are smitten. I don’t see the earth or the sea in these verses. But the trees, the grass, the sea and the fountains of water are in the sun, moon, and stars.
How can that be? Through the course of this study this will be demonstrated. The trees (Earth) are people. (Inhabiters of the earth and the sea) The grass (Earth) is the substance of the inhabiters.
(Of the earth and the sea). The sea (Sea) is the process of the cleansing of the inhabiters of the earth. The fountains of waters (Earth) are the bitter cup the Multitude is given to drink.
Each of these objects, the trees, the grass, the sea, and fountains of water are metaphors for the inhabiters of the earth, their substance, the cleansing of the church, and the bitter cup, the journey that the Multitude partakes.
When you put these two verses together, they are in unison. You can also see that the actual hurting of the earth, the sea, and trees (The first four trumpets) actually manifests in the physical start of the 5th trumpet. The 5th trumpet Scorpions are in alliance with the 6th trumpet Serpents and are manifesting at the same time.
When the sealing of the 144,000 is completed, the angels no longer hold back the winds. The winds begin to blow. The west wind begins to blow from the west to the east. The east wind blows from the east to the west, the south wind to the north, the north wind to the south. All of these winds blow from the four corners of the earth and converge in the middle, in the midst to be exact. They converge upon the midst of Jerusalem.
What happens when you have four winds that all converge in one place? You have winds hitting each other and they begin to swirl. This is the birth of the Whirlwind.

What happens when you have four winds that all converge in one place? You have winds hitting each other and they begin to swirl. This is the birth of the Whirlwind.
The Introduction of the Whirlwind
The four winds that are no longer held back converge in the middle (The midst of Jerusalem) and create a whirlwind of the 5th and 6th trumpets which are the execution of the four trumpets. (The four winds)
Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind; [2] And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about. - Jeremiah 51:1, 2
Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. - Job 37:9
The whirlwind that comes out of the south is representative of the Scorpions. The cold out of the north is representative of the Serpents. The cold and the north are links to the Serpents. This will be established in the 4th and 6th trumpets.
And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself... - Ezekiel 1:4
There is a whirlwind that comes out of the south (5th trumpet, Scorpions) and a whirlwind that comes out of the north. (6th trumpet, Serpents) These two whirlwinds converge in the midst of Jerusalem. The whirlwind that comes from the south would be a hot wind. The whirlwind that comes out of the north would be a cold wind. What happens when hot wind meets cold wind? You have the perfect storm.
And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. - Luke 12:55
The word heat used in this verse has within its definition, the words; set on fire, burning heat, fervent heat, kindle, consume, and burning. [2] That lines up with the word fire, in the hail and fire of the 1st trumpet. The sun rises with a fervent heat and withers the grass. This will be explored further in the 1st Trumpet. Notice that the heat comes out of the south.
A hurricane, tempest, storm, and a whirlwind are used in the definitions for whirlwind. [3] The sub-definition for whirlwind has the phrases, drive with a whirlwind or scatter with a whirlwind. [4] That seems pretty direct. The Multitude is scattered in the wind and when the four winds converge, they are scattered or driven by the whirlwind. In other words, the Multitude is caught in the Whirlwind.
Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled. - Jeremiah 4.13
Look at this verse. We have in this verse one woe. The first woe is the Scorpions. We also have his chariots. These would be referring to the chariots spoken about in Isaiah 21, the chariots of horsemen.
Since we know this verse is referring to the Scorpions of the 5th trumpet because of the one woe, then the horses that are said to be swifter than eagles are the horses of the 5th trumpet and not the 6th trumpet, for the eagles are an identification of the Serpents.
After the “Woe unto us!” we read “for we are spoiled.” The Multitude is spoiled, ravaged, and destroyed. All they have is stripped away from them by the Scorpions and their life is ultimately taken by the Serpents.
Remember when we were discussing Ezekiel’s hair? The Multitude is scattered in the wind. The four winds converge in the midst of Jerusalem and they are taken in the Whirlwind. The Lord will then gather those that He has scattered. “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
There is symmetry with the picture we are receiving here. In Isaiah 21 the watchman sees a lion. The definition for lion gives us a violent gathering. [5] The Multitude is scattered in the wind and the Lord gathers His elect from the four winds. But how are they gathered? They are gathered through their death. That is how the one is taken, through a violent gathering from the wind. The Serpents murder the saints of God.
In the chariots of Isaiah 21, the first chariot is the horsemen. The second chariot is the chariot of asses. Here is the link to the identification of the asses to the Serpents in the following verse.
And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass. - Jeremiah 14:6
The wild asses (Serpents, 2nd third of the apostate) stand upon the high places. They have a mandate from their god and are doing his will, not the will of the God that they should be following, but they don’t know this for they are wicked and are no longer under the Lord’s direction. They might say things like “These blasphemers (The Multitude) think they are the chosen people. Ha! We’ll show them who has the power. They are powerless to do anything. They are given into our hand.”
...lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this. [28] For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them. [29] O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end! - Deuteronomy 32:27-29
The Serpents think pretty highly of themselves as they snuff up the wind like dragons. Who is in the wind? The Multitude is in the wind that the dragon snuffs up. The entire time that they are doing the murdering, they will be thinking that they are in the will of God. The Lord will bring judgement down upon them swiftly at the 7th trumpet.
The words snuffed up means; figuratively to be angry, to devour, to swallow up, to snuff up. [6]
The wild asses of the sixth trumpet devour the Multitude out of the wind. “...their eyes did fail, because there was no grass.” In the 1st trumpet all the green grass is burned up, which is the substance of the multitude. The green grass is burned up (Consumed) and taken by the Scorpions in the 5th trumpet. That’s why there is no green grass for the wild asses standing upon the high places.
They are not interested in the goods of the Multitude. They are interested in taking their lives, ridding the world of these blasphemers, the Multitude. The 7th trumpet will take care of both the Serpents and the Scorpions, but not before the wild asses stand upon the high places and kill the Multitude.
Let us begin the examination of the six trumpets. In this examination of the trumpets, you will see the three groups, the judgements upon them, their ultimate end, (Spiritual life, or spiritual death) and the different metaphors that identify each third. It also gives us insight into several scriptures that have not been understood until now.
