A Wheel within a Wheel
Chapter 2
The Paradigm Shift: New Thing, New Song, New Wine, New Cloth
There is a paradigm shift that has occurred. We are currently in “The Time of the End” when the books have been unsealed and they have been opened. We are running to and fro and knowledge is increasing. This shift is a new way of looking at the things that have been written about in the Bible. We are to decipher the Bible using the Metaphorical Language and the Spiritual Overlay. Let’s see what the Bible says about this.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Amos tells us that the Lord will let us (the 144,000) know His secret before He does anything. His secret will be revealed. What is His secret? It is the understanding of how to see things that have been hidden (kept secret) until now.
New Thing
Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
The Lord tells us almost the same thing as is stated in Amos 3:7 with an added phrase. “And new things do I declare”. Is how we are understanding and seeing the scriptures a new thing? Absolutely. Again, He states that before they happen He will tell us. He also tells us that the former things are come to pass. What does He mean by that? Our old way of understanding the scriptures is past. We need to look at the scriptures through a different lens.
Isaiah 43:18, 19 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:18, 19 is almost a duplication of Isaiah 42:9 with a bit of a variation. He tells us not to remember the former things or consider the things of old. He is telling us to leave those behind, our former understanding of the scriptures. The old still stands as a foundation however we see the Scriptures with a new understanding. See the scriptures through a new lens. Then He asks us “shall ye not know it?” When we apply the Spiritual Overlay and the Metaphorical Language we definitely shall know it.
In the last part of the verse He states “I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” This can be easily understood applying the new understanding that we now have. Making a way in the wilderness would be referring to the ‘Woman in the Wilderness’. (See the upcoming chapter ‘Woman in the Wilderness’ (144,000))
In Revelation chapter 12 we find the answer to what this is referring to in verse 14.
Revelation 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
“Make a way in the wilderness” is describing the woman who is given two wings of a great eagle and flies into the wilderness. The Lord will make a way in the wilderness with those two wings of the eagle.
What about the rivers in the desert? Using again the Metaphorical Language and the Spiritual Overlay; rivers signify Truth and Biblical doctrine, namely Jesus Christ. The desert signifies a dry place where there is no truth. This tells us that He will give us the Truth and Biblical Doctrine that we need.
Then look at the rest of the verse in Rev 12:14. The woman in the wilderness is nourished in the wilderness. She is nourished with rivers of Living Water. Living Water is Jesus Christ. And we can’t forget that the 144,000 are standing on Mount Sion with the Lamb of God.
John 4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
In Amos 3:7 the Lord says that He won’t do anything without letting His servants the prophets know what He is getting ready to do. The Tribulation if a pretty big deal. He is going to let us know of the inner workings of the Tribulation before it happens.
Isaiah 42:9 and 43: 18, 19 are second and third witnesses to Amos 3:7. There is an interesting tie in to a parable that Jesus spoke to the disciples after they asked Jesus these questions
Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
He then tells them about the earthquakes, famines, and pestilences and a whole list of events that will occur. Jesus then follows that list with this parable.
Matthew 24:32,33 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
There are several items within this parable to make note of. Using the Metaphorical Language with identification of the different groups, summer is associated with the Scorpions. The Scorpions will be turning in the Multitude.
The Scorpions will be covered more in depth in chapter 8 Section D of “The Scorpions” and also upcoming chapters “The Judas Cycle,” and “The Trumpets.” When Jesus says within this parable “ye know that summer is nigh” using the Metaphorical Language and the Spiritual Overlay, we know that Jesus is telling us that the time of the Scorpions is near.
The reference to the fig tree is associated with the Scorpions. With the Scorpions are the Serpents. This reference to the fig tree is telling us when we see the Serpents and their power rising, the Scorpions are closely to follow.
When we see these things, we are to know that it is close. Jesus follows this parable with Mt 24:34 “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” We shall see all these things for they are happening right before our eyes right now.
The tie in to Isaiah 42:9 and 43:18,19 is located within the definitions of spring forth and Matthew 24:32 putteth forth.
Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
Isaiah 43:18, 19 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Spring forth 06779 a primitive root; to sprout (cause to, make to) bud (forth), (cause to, make to) grow (again, up), (cause to) spring (forth, up).
Putteth forth 1631 from 1537 and 5453; to sprout up:--put forth.
These are exact matches tying those verses together.
The Lord tells us almost the same thing as is stated in Amos 3:7 with an added phrase. “And new things do I declare”. Is how we are understanding and seeing the scriptures a new thing? Absolutely. New Song
Revelation 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
In this verse we see the 144,000 singing “as it were a new song.” Notice this wording “as it were.” This song that they sing is not a new song, but like new song. Could this be referring to the ‘new thing’ or new understanding that we have of the scriptures? That would make complete sense since the new understanding is using the same scriptures, the same passages, but with a new understanding of what they mean and are speaking about. This can be the only explanation that makes any sense and it totally fits with what were are seeing and understanding in these end times.
Why is it that only the 144,000 can learn that song? Nobody else can learn it from what that verse states. Let’s look at those thirds that the church is divided into.
The Serpents and Scorpions are found in this next verse.
Ezekiel 12:2 Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see, and ears to hear but does not hear; for they are a rebellious house.
They do not have eyes to see nor ears to hear for they are a rebellious house.
Matthew 23:26 Blind Pharisee, (Serpent) first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Jesus himself called the Serpents blind.
The Serpents and the Scorpions cannot learn the new song because they love not the truth. What about the Multitude?
Jesus was answering the disciple’s question of why Jesus spoke to the multitudes in parables.
Matthew 13:13-15 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Revelation 3:17-19 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
This verse in Revelation is Jesus speaking to the church of the Laodiceans. He is speaking to the Multitude. (See Chapter 13 “The 7 Churches”)
The Multitude do not have eyes to see, ears to hear, or a heart to perceive because they have rejected His Truth, they have followed after other gods. (See series “For Three Transgressions, and Four” on the website) Let’s look at another verse.
Isaiah 30:20 And though the Lord gives you The bread of adversity and the water of affliction (Great Tribulation), Yet your teachers (144,000) will not be moved into a corner anymore, (The Multitude will no longer disregard the Truth not listening to the warnings) But your eyes shall see your teachers. (The Multitude will now listen to what the 144,000 will be teaching them. They will at this point be in prison with nowhere to turn).
The Multitude that is currently within the church does not want to hear the Truth during the “Time of the End.” They won’t heed the warnings of coming peril because they are waiting for their precious rapture.
They don’t want to hear that they are in a state of apostasy. The time is coming however when they will listen. But it will not be until they are stuck and have nowhere to turn. That is when they will hear what they need to hear from the 144,000 who will be their teachers.
The Multitude will no longer push the teachers away into the corner but will seek them out. (See Chapter 4 Section A “The 144,000” and Chapter 4 Section B “The Multitude” and also the book “The 144,000 and the Multitude”)
This is why no man could learn the new song except the 144,000. It is only the 144,000 that has the Truth of what is happening, why it is happening, and how it ends.
Now, the biggest question about this ‘as it were a new song,’ we don’t see anywhere in that passage any musical instruments. There are no harps playing, no viols, no music or melody. Why is that? If it is a song and it is being sung, shouldn’t it contain music of some sort? All through the Psalms, David sings new songs and there is always music that accompanies those songs.
To understand what the ‘as it were a new song is’ we need to go to the Song of Moses. The song of Moses is what the Multitude sings. Let’s take a look at what the Song of Moses is.
Deuteronomy 31:16-30 And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods. Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel. For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant. And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware. Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel. And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee. And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, 26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death? Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.
Several things to notice within the ‘Song of Moses’ is that there are no instruments mentioned. The words of this song were spoken and taught to the people. It also states that this is a law and it was written in a book. This book was placed in the ark of the covenant as a witness against Israel.
The ‘Song of Moses’ is an outline of the transgressions of Israel (the apostate church). The reference “and evil will befall you in the latter days” brings the words of this song to our present day, the Tribulation. To boil all of this down, the ‘Song of Moses’ is the instruction to the Multitude about the path they have taken.
Just as “as it were a new song” for the 144,000 is instruction on their path that they will proceed on. The “as it were a new song is the understanding of the roles that the 144,000 fill and the fulfillment of that role. No man could learn that song except the 144,000 because there is not anyone outside of the 144,000 that can fill that role. They are each specially chosen by the Lord to fill the role that He has designated for them to fill in the ‘Time of the End’ and ‘The End’.
There is one more concept I would like to point out concerning Isa 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. and Isa 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass…
Take a foundation of a house or any type of a structure. The foundation that is installed must be true, square, level, and plumb. If you have a good solid foundation, whatever structure that is built upon it will be solid. What do you do once a good foundation is built? You bury it. You cover it up with dirt and then proceed to build the structure upon that foundation.
You don’t see the foundation anymore, yet it is still there. You never have to dig up the foundation to see if it is still there. You know it is there.
Take a look at New Jerusalem. Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone. The apostles and the prophets are the foundation. The wall that is built upon that foundation is the 144,000.
Ephesians 2:20, 22 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Revelation 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Revelation 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone, the apostles and prophets being the foundation and the walls being 144,000 with the Multitude therein is New Jerusalem. The foundation is covered just as “remember not the former things nor consider the things of old” and “former things are come to pass.” The foundation is still there and we have the foundation as base but we are to focus on the walls of New Jerusalem that are being built in these end times.
Ever wonder why it is called New Jerusalem? Because the old Jerusalem is history. It has been destroyed and left a ruinous heap. We have a New Jerusalem with pearl gates and streets of gold. But most importantly, the Lamb of God is there.

The Serpents and Scorpions are found in this next verse.

New Wine
Mark 2:22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
New wine cannot be mixed with the old. It must stand by itself in new bottles. There is a separation between the old and the new as we can see in the following 2 verses.
Isa 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare:…
Isaiah 43:18, 19 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing;…
This is the new understanding that we have of the scriptures using the Metaphorical Language and the Spiritual Overlay. It does not however negate the former things or the things of old. They still stand.
We now see things through a different lens and the same Scripture now shows us a whole new concept or understanding. It does not diminish the Word of God, it enhances it, it brings it to Life. For it was written for the time we are now presently living in.

New Cloth
Mark 2:21 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.
This is virtually the same concept as the new wine. The new cloth can’t mix with the old and can take away from the old. It must stand by itself and not be mixed with the old.
