A Wheel within a Wheel
Chapter 11
The Metaphorical Language
Parts of this chapter have been taken from previous writings in the past; namely it was first written about on November 22, 2009 and broadcast on ‘The Threshing Floor’ on January 11th, 2010. Additional understanding was added on July 31, 2022 and was broadcast again on August 8th, 2022. This is the final rendition and is finalized at this time in this chapter of this book. There may be additions later, but this is a fairly full understanding that we have currently.
The Metaphorical Language is throughout the Bible. The Metaphorical Language combined with ‘Spiritual Overlay’ (See Chapter 6 ‘The Spiritual Overlay’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') unlocks the mysteries or ‘secret’ of the Bible. (Listen to the series ‘The Metaphorical Language’ on this website)
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, (Tribulation) but he revealeth his secret (The mysteries of the Bible and how things are going to unfold during the Tribulation. See the books ‘The 144,000 and the Multitude’, Trumpet Judgements Unveiled’ and ‘His Secret’ on this website) unto his servants the prophets. (144,000)
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, (Shut up the words and seal the understanding of end time events) even to the time of the end: (The ‘Time of the End’ is the first three years of the Tribulation. See chapter 4 ‘The Two Time Periods’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') many (144,000) shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (The understanding of the secrets of the Bible will open up and be understood by the 144,000)
Daniel 12:9, 10 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed (The words of Daniel and the entire Bible will be closed up and sealed until the end time events spoken about in the Bible begin to unfold) till the time of the end. (The ‘Time of the End’ is the first three years of the Tribulation. See chapter 4 ‘The Two Time Periods’ in this book) Many (Multitude) shall be purified, and made white, (Multitude robes are made white in the Blood of the Lamb) and tried; (Multitude is brought through the fire, tried, and refined. Zechariah 13:9) but the wicked shall do wickedly: (Serpents and Scorpions) and none of the wicked shall understand; (Because the Serpents and the Scorpions are under ‘The Strong Delusion’. See the upcoming chapter ‘The Strong Delusion’) but the wise (144,000 – 5 Wise Virgins) shall understand. (The understanding comes with the opening up of the books using the Metaphorical Language and the Spiritual Overlay.)
There are verses that give us a hint as to what we need to look for in opening up the words and books of the Bible.
Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime (All of the events, happenings, and characters that were written about in the Bible were written for us giving us the ability to understand the end time events) were written for our learning, (The 144,000 will run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased. Daniel 12:4) that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
The scriptures give us the knowledge and understanding of how the end time events of the Tribulation play out. The Tribulation is no longer some threat looming in our future that we need to fear. The Tribulation is the fulfillment of God’s plan for saving a ‘Remnant of Israel’. (See chapter 7 ‘The Remnant of Israel’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel')
From our understanding and the opening of the books, the 144,000 have a purpose and a mission to fulfill. The 144,000 can be comforted by the scriptures and have hope by understanding the Lord’s plan to accomplish the fulfillment of God’s plan for His people.
There is another verse that says almost the same thing as the previous verse with a direct connection to the Tribulation.
1Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened (What things? Everything that happened and was written about in the Old Testament and follows through to the New Testament) unto them (From Adam and Eve to Christ) for ensamples: (Examples to be understood at the time of the end) and they are written for our admonition, (The definition of ‘admonition’ is warning and learning. One of the under-definitions has ‘understanding’ in it. It is written as a warning to the Multitude who do not heed the warning, and as learning for the 144,000 using the Metaphorical Language and the Spiritual Overlay) upon whom the ends of the world are come. (The Tribulation)
Paul tells us of the transition that takes place from not understanding to understanding.
1Corinthians 13:9-12 For we know in part, (Not understanding fully) and we prophesy in part. (Not seeing future events fully) But when that which is perfect (Jesus Christ and by extension the 144,000 who follow and obey Him) is come, (The Coming of the Son of Man, Jesus Christ. The Coming of the Son of Man is an additional identification of the Tribulation and by extension the 144,000 who represent Jesus Christ. The 144,000 is also come. They have been called and are at the ready for what is getting ready to occur.) then that which is in part shall be done away. (‘Out with the old, in with the new’, See chapter 2 ‘The Paradigm Shift’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, (New and full understanding) I put away childish things. (Putting away the old and partial understanding and embracing the new and full understanding) For now we see through a glass, darkly; (Before the opening of the books and words) but then face to face: (New understanding through the use of the Metaphorical Language and the Spiritual Overlay) now I know in part; (Before the opening of the books and words) but then shall I know (Our understanding has come to the full) even as also I am known. (We know Paul by his writings. He was an imperfect man who was transformed into a perfect man through Jesus Christ)
Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation (Jesus Christ) unto all them that obey him;
John 17:23 I (Jesus Christ) in them, (Followers of Jesus Christ) and thou (God the Father) in me, (Jesus Christ) that they (Followers of Jesus Christ) may be made perfect in one; (As the Remnant of Israel) and that the world may know that thou (God the Father) hast sent me, (Jesus Christ) and hast loved them, (Followers of Jesus Christ) as thou (God the Father) hast loved me. (Jesus Christ)
As followers of Jesus Christ in Truth, we are perfected through Him. Within that perfection is our understanding about the end time events. We are currently in ‘The Time of the End’ getting ready to transition to ‘The End’ time period.
It is through the Metaphorical Language that now translates the Bible into identifications of persons and events that have been and will be playing out right before our eyes. You have seen this language used to identify characters and events in the scriptures throughout this book and previously written books. (See ‘The 144,000 and the Multitude, The Trumpet Judgements Unveiled, and ‘His Secret’)
Obtaining a good understanding on how ‘The Metaphorical Language’ works is to be able to differentiate what scriptures or parts of scriptures are metaphors and which are to be literal. Within one scripture can be both. Once you have mastered this language, you will be able to make those proper applications.
Jesus tells us that this is how we are to learn and understand these things.
Matthew 13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven (This is literal. A scribe is defined as a writer, i.e. (professionally) scribe or secretary. (Strong’s 1121) This is what I am doing, writing all of this in this book and previous books. The Lord is the author; I am just a vessel or conduit to pass on the information and instruction.) is like unto a man that is an householder, (This word ‘householder’ is figurative. It is one of the metaphorical identifications of the 144,000) which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. (This is literal mixed with metaphorical. Bring things out new and old is taking the things that happened to them in the Old and New Testaments and applying the metaphorical identifications to gain an understanding of what they mean. The ‘new’ is referring to the ‘new thing’, ‘as it were a new song’, new wine, new piece of cloth written about in chapter 2 ‘The Paradigm Shift’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel'.)
An interesting note to put forth here is in the under-definition of ‘scribe’ is the phrase ‘plural learning’. Looking up the definition of ‘plural’ in the Webster’s New World Dictionary we find; “of or including more than one”.
Included in the definition when plural is used in grammar; a) designating of more than one (of what is referred to). b) in languages having dual number, designating or of more than one (of what is referred to). When used as a noun in grammar, 1. the plural number. 2. a plural form of a word.
Plural in grammar and language means that there are two identifications to words or numbers. It can also mean the plural learning of the combination of both the Metaphoric Language and the words within the definitions that we couple together. We have been doing this for over 19 years now and are just now finding out that this is exactly the way that the Lord has designated this to happen.
This is how the Lord retains His glory. If this was me or you doing this we would have figured this out long ago. But we are not doing this. This is the Lord. He has shown us the system of the metaphoric language and how to use it. We didn’t really know what we were doing. We just saw the patterns and the Lord began to reveal this to us; slowly, methodically and continuously. If any of you have been with us in our first shows on the Threshing Floor you would recognize that we were babes trying to learn this system. Through countless hours we along with you have honed our skills in the use of the plural words and numbers; ‘The Metaphoric Language’.
The plural learning is the metaphoric language that we have learned and are continuing to learn coupled with the Greek and Hebrew definitions. What magnificent things the Lord has in store for His people.
The scribe that is instructed (By the Lord) in the kingdom of heaven, writes in written form the plural learning. That is what you are reading right now. This journey has only begun.
The scribe is like a householder that brings out of his treasure (The Bible) things old and new. This would be referring to the things that happened to them to be ensamples upon us whom the end of the age has come. The old is referring to the examples that we can receive a plural understanding of. We apply the new (Revelation from the Lord) metaphors upon these words and concepts and this gives us the understanding of the metaphoric language and how to apply the learning that we receive and apply it to the world around us and to the future events directly in front of us.
There is a definitive pattern that crosses from the New Testament to the Old Testament and from Genesis to Revelation. It is through the identification of metaphors and how they are applied that has given us the understanding that we now possess.
Many of the metaphors are found in the actual words of the Bible. Many identifications stem from the actual Hebrew and Greek Strong’s Concordance definitions of those words which in turn leads us to additional identifications.
There are key phrases that we have identified and continue to uncover that is delving deeper into scripture. These identifications and understanding are revealing to us who, what, when, where, and the why of the Tribulation and its participants. Details of the characteristics and thought patterns of the groups involved within the Tribulation are revealed. We know what drives them to do what they will do.
Using these identifications, we then apply these to the church and what is happening around us which shows us how these things are forming. What is forming is what has been previously shown to us through the metaphoric language.
Through this process of making connections and learning the metaphoric identifications we noticed patterns within this language. There are specific rules and applications to the language of metaphor as there is to any language. Certain rules that you follow and are not meant to be disregarded. There are certain applications that are to be followed and not delineated from.
We are going to take a look at these rules and applications. When you learn them and you begin to go through the scripture and definitions yourself, you will also see these patterns. When we follow these rules, there is harmony and consistency. If we run into a seemingly contradictory statement of passage, we need to examine this more deeply for there is something that was missed or misunderstood.
In all of these studies, we can harmonize all scripture, some of which did not harmonize previously. The Bible becomes alive as you have never experienced it before. It is truly the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The very words of your Bible are Jesus Christ for He is the Word. The Word is alive!
Jesus showed us that He used metaphors within His parables; namely the parable of the sower and the field. A metaphor is defined in the Webster’s New World Dictionary as “implied comparison, in which a word or phrase ordinarily and primarily used of one thing is applied to another.” Put simply, a metaphor is placing an object or person in the place of another.
A phrase that most are familiar with is the phrase “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” In the literal understanding this is telling us that when the tree drops an apple, it doesn’t go very far. Using the understanding the each of these objects is actually a metaphor. The apple is referring to a son or daughter of a parent. The tree is a metaphor for the parent. The term “doesn’t fall far from” is a metaphor for “he or she is just like.” This phrase interpreted using the metaphoric symbols and the meaning is telling us “He (The son) is just like his dad” or “she (The daughter) is just like her mom.”
The Bible is just like this. When you understand the metaphors located within scripture, the Bible reads entirely differently than you have ever read it before. This chapter is to help you to understand, recognize and identify when a metaphor is being used and how to interpret it. If you have eyes to see and ears to hear, you will see this.
You may be a bit slow at first and may not grasp it immediately, but that’s okay. You will be learning a new language at the same time you are dispelling myths that you have been taught probably all of your life in the church. Learning this language is a process, some catch on quickly, some it takes awhile and some will never be able. (The Multitude, Serpents and Scorpions)
If you were learning a new language, say Spanish, would you expect yourself to be speaking it fluently in a couple of days? No. You may have a few words or phrases and be able to count, but you would not speak it fluently. That takes time, effort, and a willingness to learn. Study, study, and more study. Once you have the basics, though, you will see how this flows. It is truly amazing.
First we must understand that the metaphoric identifications are applied to the 4 groups that go through the Tribulation; the 144,000, the Multitude, the Serpents, and the Scorpions. All of these groups are located within the church, either the True church of God, the ecclesia, where the 144,000 are and where the Multitude eventually arrives, (Through their persecution, prosecution, and execution) or the apostate church that is cut off. (Serpents and Scorpions)
A perfect coupling of ‘plural learning’ is found in the parables of Jesus. Parable(s) is defined in the Strong’s Concordance as “a similitude ("parable"), i.e. (symbolic) fictitious narrative (of common life conveying a moral), apothegm or adage:--comparison, figure, parable, proverb.”
The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines a parable as “a usually short fictitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious principle”.
Matthew 13:10-13 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries (Strong’s Definition of ‘mysteries’ is ‘Secret’. See Amos 3:7 that states that the Lord will reveal ‘His Secret’ to His servants the prophets (144,000) before He does what He is going to do.) of the kingdom of heaven, (Today’s apostate church) but to them (Today’s apostate church) it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: (144,000) but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. (Today’s apostate church) Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they (Today’s apostate church) seeing see not; and hearing they (Today’s apostate church) hear not, neither do they (Today’s apostate church) understand. (Because only the 144,000 understand – The Five Wise Virgins)
Let’s take a look at a parable that Jesus puts forth.
Matthew 13:24-30 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants (The 144,000) said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Jesus goes into the next passage and explains the concept of plural learning and the use of metaphors to his disciples.
Mt 13:34-43 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Now, let’s apply what we now know on the use of ‘The Metaphorical Language’.
Matthew 13:34-43 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; (Jesus Christ) The field is the world; (Today’s apostate church) the good seed are the children of the kingdom; (The Wheat – The Multitude) but the tares (Serpents and Scorpions) are the children (Sons of Satan) of the wicked one; (Satan) The enemy that sowed them is the devil; (Satan) the harvest (Harvesting of the Wheat is the harvesting of the Multitude) is the end of the world; (The Tribulation) and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares (Serpents and Scorpions) are gathered (The Serpents and Scorpions are bound together in bundles – ‘The Contract’) and burned in the fire; (Lake of Fire) so shall it be in the end of this world. (The Tribulation) The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, (Serpents and Scorpions) and them which do iniquity; (The Multitude) And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: (The Tribulation) there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Serpents and Scorpions) Then shall the righteous (The Multitude) shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. (The 144,000 have ears to hear and eyes to see now. Eventually The Multitude’s ears will be opened and their eyes will receive sight.)
The servants, the ones tending the field of wheat and tares are the 144,000. The 144,000 are the servants, the prophets spoken about in Amos 3:7.
The Metaphoric Language just as any language has rules and applications that apply to the language itself. Below are the rules that through the learning of ‘The Metaphoric Language’ was seen a pattern to this new language. These rules are explained below.
Metaphoric Language Rules and Applications
1. A metaphor may have a rigid identification that is unique to that particular
identification.
A rigid identification is an identification that is unique to that particular metaphor. It cannot be applied to any of the other groups, only to that particular one. Some examples include the bear, the leopard, the Overcomers, the wheat, the tares, and the barley.
Application
The metaphor of the bear is unique to the Serpents. The bear cannot be a metaphor for the Multitude, the Scorpions, or the 144,000. It is a unique identification that is applied only to the Serpents. In the same way, the leopard is unique to the Scorpions. The leopard cannot be the Serpents, the Multitude, or the 144,000.
The same applies to the Overcomers. They are the Multitude. The Scorpions and the Serpents are not even counted as one of the Overcomers. The 144,000 are not the Overcomers, for they are sealed and not under the judgement of God. The wheat is a metaphor for the Multitude. It only applies to the Multitude. There are other metaphoric words used for the Serpents and Scorpions, but wheat is not one of them. Remember the sower and the field.
He sowed the wheat into the field. Tares grew up among them. At no time does the wheat become tares or the tares become wheat. They are separate and distinct metaphors identifying a particular group within this parable.
When you see a bear, leopard, wheat, or an Overcomer, you will know that you are looking at a Serpent, Scorpion, or the Multitude respectfully. This is what is called the application of the rule. You apply this rule to the scripture and the identifications harmonize throughout the Bible. There are many of these rigid metaphoric identifications.
2. A metaphoric identification can have either one group identified within the metaphor
or there may be a combination of the groups within that metaphor.
There are many metaphoric identifications that can have all three groups; the
Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude within them either spoken about as a
group or spoken about individually. An example would be the creatures of the sea, or trees.
Application
The creatures of the sea are found in the 2nd trumpet.
Revelation 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
This verse is speaking about a third part of the creatures in the sea dying. This shows us the creatures in the sea are divided into thirds. Just as Babylon, Egypt, and Assyria are divided into thirds. One third dies. This third that dies has life. The only ones within the sea that have life are the Multitude that rise from the dead. The other 2/3 are the Serpents and Scorpions that are cut off and die in Zechariah 13:8.
The creatures of the sea have within that metaphoric identification all three; the Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude. 1/3 of the creatures have life, the other 2/3 do not have life. Follow this same pattern for the 1/3 of the ships that are destroyed. The 1/3 of the ships that are destroyed tells us that there are 2/3 of the ships are not destroyed. This is because the other 2/3 of the ships are the Serpents and the Scorpions that destroy the other 1/3 of the ships, they being the Multitude.
The same pattern applies to the trees. In the 1st trumpet, 1/3 of the trees are burnt up. This would be the Multitude that is burnt up or destroyed leaving the other 2/3 of the trees untouched. The metaphor identification of these trees applies to the Serpents, the Scorpions, and the Multitude.
Other metaphors that contain all three within them are Babylon, Egypt, Assyria, and many more.
3. When an identification of more than one group is within that metaphor there is
additional scripture that will prove the groups association within that metaphor.
Application
When you look at the grass as a metaphor you will find that the grass is actually separated into two categories. In the 1st trumpet we see that all of the green grass is burned up. This metaphor is not just grass. It is green grass. Since all the green grass gets burned up, we might assume that this would be pertaining to the Multitude exclusively who gets destroyed. The only way to prove this is we must look at other verses that contain the word grass and determine if this is the right application.
Isaiah 40:7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
The Lord gives us the metaphoric identification of grass as people. In this next verse the Lord speaks about the wicked that spring as the grass. These would be the Serpents and the Scorpions.
Psalm 92:7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; [it is] that they shall be destroyed for ever:
The Lord also states in this verse that the wicked that spring up as grass shall be destroyed forever. That harmonizes with Zechariah 13:8 that states that 2/3 (Serpents and Scorpions) shall be cut off and die and He brings 1/3 through the fire, this 1/3 being the Multitude that comes through the fire out on the other side and has life. They are the green grass that does get burnt up, but they receive everlasting life. Their body is destroyed but not their soul.
This next verse tells us that the wicked are as grass upon the housetops that withers before it has matured. The wicked are the Serpents and the Scorpions that are the withered grass. The Multitude is the green grass. An interesting side note; the grass that withers is upon the housetop. Didn’t Jesus warn those that flee not to go up to the housetop? The housetop can now be a metaphoric identification to where the Scorpions and the Serpents are located.
Psalm 129:4-6 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
The metaphor of grass contains all three groups, yet each group within the metaphor can be divided out as to which group is represented. The 144,000 are also located within the metaphor of grass and also trees. They are located in the 5th trumpet. The Scorpions are commanded not to hurt the grass of the earth, any green thing or any tree. How can this be if they help to destroy all of the green grass and 1/3 of the trees? This is where the understanding of the metaphors and the Spiritual Overlay can harmonize scripture.
Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
The Scorpions who are working in unison with the Serpents comprise the 2/3 of the trees and 2/3 of the grass of the earth. (Today’s apostate church) They would not hurt or destroy themselves. The 144,000 are not contained within those thirds for they have already come out of Babylon. They are not under the judgement of God.
The 144,000 are also metaphoric trees and grass and green things. Yet they cannot be hurt for they have the seal of God upon their foreheads. This is why it says that they are commanded not to hurt these things. They are commanded not to hurt the 144,000 which then leaves the Multitude.
The next part of the verse states that they can hurt the ones that do not have the seal of God in their foreheads, and that would be the Multitude.
Another metaphoric identification that includes all the thirds is Babylon. We can find many scriptures that can also be divided amongst these groups.
The Multitude are referenced as the daughter of the Chaldeans, the daughter of Babylon, Zion, etc. All verses that speak about Babylon and contain either of those phrases will be speaking about the Multitude.
Babylon also contains the Serpents and the Scorpions. Here is a verse that speaks about the Scorpions.
Ezekiel 21:21, 22 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.
The phrase “he made his arrows bright” is a metaphoric identification of the Scorpions. They are the arrows. They are made bright, polished up and primed to go into battle. The Scorpions are on the right hand of the King of Babylon.
The king of Babylon appoints captains (Scorpions) to open the mouth, (The accusations against the Multitude) to lift up the voice. (Accusations against the Multitude) They are the battering rams against the gates, they cast a mount and build a fort. These phrases are speaking about the Multitude being taken into captivity.
The Serpents wield the sword. It is actually the sword of the Lord that is placed in the hands of the Serpents.
Jeremiah 50:35 A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.
This sword is wielded by the Serpents who are also the Chaldeans. Their sword shall be against his brother for they shall wield the sword and bring it upon their brothers in the congregations, the Multitude.
4. A metaphor that is identified as something that is divided into thirds can then be
broken down within that identification to apply to each of the thirds.
Application
There are many metaphors that are general as to a group, but can be broken down to their specific identifications. One of these metaphors pertains to the metaphor of birds.
The fowls of the heavens are specific to the Scorpions.
Fowls (Birds) can be broken down further. Eagles can apply to either the 144,000 or the Serpents. The ‘wings of an eagle’ in Revelation 12 is referencing the protection given to the 144,000.
The eagles can also be the Serpents. These would be the eagles that are gathered around the dead bodies in Matthew 24:28. Vultures are a specific metaphor for the Serpents. The owl and the raven are specific metaphors of the Scorpions. The doves are specific to the Multitude.
Another example would be the word beasts. The beasts of the field are specific to the Serpents. But beasts can be broken down even further. The lion is a beast and it can be the devil, Jesus Christ, The 144,000, The Multitude, the Scorpions and the Serpents. The bear is designated only to the Serpents. The leopard is designated only to the Scorpions. The oxen are identified with only the Multitude.
5. Metaphors are spiritual identifications based upon the figurative interpretation.
Application
Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
Looking at this verse as a figurative interpretation, we look through the “Spiritual Overlay.” We know that each symbol or object is a metaphor for something else. Based upon previous identifications; the hail represents the Serpents, the fire represents the Scorpions and the blood represents the Multitude.
The mingled which represents the Multitude is mingled with the Serpents and the Scorpions within the churches until the Lord separates them out from among them.
The third part of the trees represents the Multitude. The phrase burnt up represents being destroyed. The green grass represents the Multitude’s possessions which are stolen from them. This is represented by all of the ‘green grass’ (Possessions of the Multitude) being completely destroyed.
Once we understand what the metaphors represent in the figurative, we can then read the verse in the spiritual context.
The first angel sounds and the Serpents and Scorpions with the Multitude are cast out of heavenly places and demoted, this being the apostate church. The Multitude is destroyed and the Multitude possessions are taken from them.
6. All of the definitions within the metaphor do not have to apply to that
particular metaphor.
Many of the clues to identify a particular metaphor are located within the Greek and the Hebrew language. The definitions for each word are loaded with clues.
Application
Remnant - 7611 sheh-ay-reeth' ...a remainder or residual (surviving, final) portion:--that had escaped, be left, posterity, remain(-der), remnant, residue, rest.
The definition can contain multiple definitions within it that may all apply, or only certain definitions will apply to that particular metaphoric identification.
The Remnant is composed of the 144,000 and the Multitude. It does not contain any Serpents or Scorpions. They are not any part of the Remnant. The definition for the word Remnant contains definitions that apply to both the 144,000 and the Multitude as a unit. There are other definitions that apply only to the 144,000 and the Multitude exclusively.
The definitions that apply to both the 144,000 and the Multitude are: a remainder or residual (surviving, final) portion, posterity, remain (-der), remnant, residue, rest.
There is one definition that only applies to the 144,000. It is the phrase “that had escaped.” The 144,000 flees Babylon and escapes. They escape the punishment that the Lord brings upon the Multitude.
There is one phrase that is exclusive to the 144,000. It is the phrase “be left.” It is the 144,000 that are left and remain here to minister to the Multitude. One shall be taken (5 Foolish Virgin/Multitude) and one shall be left. (5 Wise Virgin/144,000)
7. There is a common thread that runs from a particular metaphor that proves the
identification is correct.
Application
When a proper identification has been made, the thread can be followed through other scriptures and definitions that will prove the identification is correct.
An example would be the phrase in Matthew 24:28 “For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.” In prior studies the eagles in this verse are the Serpents that gather themselves together and are charged with the killing of the Multitude.
Since the word eagle can also represent safety and security for the 144,000, we need look at the context of any verse that contains the eagle within it.
Habakkuk 1:8 Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
This verse is speaking about the Serpents for it states that their horses (Serpent’s horses) are swifter than the leopards. The leopards are the Scorpions. Their horses (Serpent’s horses) are fiercer than the evening wolves. The evening wolves are the Scorpions.
Their horsemen (The Serpents) shall spread themselves. The Serpents expand themselves and enlarge themselves also based on previous studies. The Serpents come from far, a far northern nation, based upon previous studies. It finally states that they will fly like an eagle that is in a hurry for his meal. This would be the dead bodies of the Multitude that this eagles feasts upon.
The identification of the eagle is correct. Each identification can be proven by the thread. Look up all of the verses pertaining to eagle or eagles and see how many you can identify as the Serpents and how many are speaking about the protection of the Lord.
8. A single metaphor can identify several different items that are completely different.
In these cases the rest of the verse or passage is used to identify which group is
applied to that metaphor. Context is the key.
Application
The lion can be used to describe the following:
Jesus Christ - Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
The Scorpions and the Serpents - Amos 3:12 Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
The Multitude - Daniel 7:4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
The 144,000 - Micah 5:7, 8 And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men. And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
Satan - 1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
When you are making a metaphoric identification, it is absolutely necessary to look at the context of not only the verse but the scripture that is surrounding the verse. When you properly identify a metaphor then the next rule applies.
9. Once a metaphor is proven, it is in harmony with all scripture.
When a properly identified metaphor is followed through scriptures and definitions it will be in harmony throughout the scriptures and definitions. It will prove itself. It is self proofing.
10. Key words within the definitions are used to identify that particular group or person.
There are key words within definitions and the scriptures that will help to identify who and what is being spoken about within a particular verse or passage.
Application: An example would be the words ‘spoil and booty.’ These two words are identifiable with the Scorpions. The Scorpions are the takers of the possessions (Spoil and booty) of the Multitude. The word ‘prey’ is identifiable with the Serpents. The Serpents are the ones that take the prey after the Scorpions have stripped them of their possessions. (Spoil and booty) The Multitude is identified as the ‘spoil (Of the Scorpions) and prey’. (Of the Serpents)
Those that ‘kill with the sword’ are the Serpents. This would not be a literal sword but a metaphorical sword which is a representation of their physical death at the hands of the Serpents.
Those ‘that leadeth into captivity’ are the Scorpions. The Scorpions will be the ones to spy out and cause the Multitude to be captured. The Scorpions will be rewarded by taking the spoil and the booty of the Multitude.
11. When enough metaphors are properly identified, the language which uses those
metaphors develops which identifies more metaphors, and the process continues.
Application: One of the identifications of the lion as we have previously looked at was identified with the Serpents. We can couple the lion in the next verse with the prey that is also identifiable with the Serpents. The lion (Serpents) will slay them. (Multitude)
Jeremiah 5:6 Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.
This lion will be applicable to the Serpents. Then we have a wolf. What would be the celestial (Spiritual) identification of this wolf? Which group would this wolf be representing? Since this verse tells us that this wolf will spoil them, we know that the spoiling is accomplished by the Scorpions. This wolf would then be applicable to the Scorpions.
You can then look up all of the passages that contain a wolf and begin to look for which verses would apply to the Scorpions. The metaphors prey and spoil helped us to identify who this lion and wolf represent.
We then have the Leopard. Who would this leopard be representative of? The Scorpions are also the leopard because this leopard is watching over their cities. He is spying out just as Judas spied out Jesus and led the band of soldiers to where Jesus was. These will be the ‘Citizen Investigators’, ‘The Sedition Hunters’.
The phrase ‘watch over their cities’ was an identifier for the Scorpions. This allows us to now apply the leopard to the Scorpions. To prove this is correct, we go through the verses that have the word ‘leopard’ within them and see if these verses are in harmony. If they are, then words and phrases used within any of these passages can now be linked to the Scorpions.
Once a metaphor has been identified, we can follow it out in other verses which will give us additional metaphors that will be attributable to that identification and thus creates a new thread for us to follow.
12. A. There is scripture that is NOT to be interpreted metaphorically. Any scriptures that
are teaching doctrine are not metaphorical but are literal. There are other scriptures
that are to be taken literally. Within the language of metaphor the difference is clearly
understood. Scripture proves Scripture and never contradicts doctrine but confirms the
doctrine of Jesus Christ.
B. Within literal teachings there are objects that have a metaphorical interpretation
such as the olive tree and branches in Romans 11.
Doctrine is always to be read literally. We have also found that numbers are to be read literally. There are 7 trumpets, 12 tribes, 12 months, 7 heads of the beast, 10 horns, etc. Now the 7 heads doesn’t literally mean 7 physical heads. Remember, we have transitioned to the spiritual.
The 7 heads are representative of 7 spiritual powers, more accurately the 7 kingdoms: Assyria, Babylon, Persia, etc. The 7 heads also represent within them the 7 churches. When it comes to the actual number designation, it literally means that amount or number.
This is also true of the number of the beast which we have been taught in the churches to be 666. Let’s take a look at this passage which designates this number. What I find interesting is that they (Today’s apostate churches) even take the literal meaning and skew it.
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding” is speaking about the 144,000. Remember the 5 wise virgins? The 144,000 are wise and they have understanding of these things. So, if this is speaking about the 144,000 then we are to know this. It then tells us to count. Count what? Count the number of the beast. Let’s look at the number. Six hundred threescore and six. That’s 666, right. No, it is not. It is 600, (Threescore) 20+20+20 and 6.
Six hundred threescore ‘and’ six is 600, (threescore) is 60, and 6. Writing this out as the Bible states, is six hundred sixty and six or 660 and 6. This number is not 666. It is 660 and 6. Look at the part of the verse that states “for it is the number of a man; and his number” This tells us that it is a single number, right? This is why all of the religious churches designate the number 666 to this verse. Yet, when you count the number as a child it is actually two numbers; 660 and 6. What can this mean? We will now go to Strong’s and this will come together.
Let’s look up the numbers 660 and 6.
Old Testament 0660 hepa ef-eh' :from 659 (in the sense of hissing); an asp or other venomous serpent:--viper.
Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
The number 660 is a direct reference to the Serpents. Surprised? Let’s look at the number 6. If this holds true we should find the Scorpions.
Old Testament 06 abad a primitive root; properly, to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by implication to perish (causative, destroy):--break, destroy(- uction), + not escape, fail, (cause to, make) perish… take…have no way to flee.
Notice that this word is the word abad which comes from the word Abaddon. Abaddon is the Hebrew name of the king over the locusts (Scorpions) of the 5th trumpet. He (Satan) is also king over the Serpents of the 6th trumpet.
John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Who is Jesus speaking about? Judas Iscariot, the one that betrayed Jesus. Judas was lost, he is also referred to as the son of perdition. Judas is a type for the Scorpions. The definition for the number 6 is a definition for the Scorpions.
When you look up the definition for the word lost in this verse, you will find the word apollumi which comes from the word Apollyon. Apollyon is the Greek name for the king over the locusts. (Scorpions)
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
The number of the beast is broken down into two numbers, 660 which refers to the Serpents and 6 which refers to the Scorpions. This number for each one is the number of a man, that man would be James Strong. It is his number he assigned to each one of those definitions. He gave the number 660 to the definition for the Serpents and he gave the number 6 to the Scorpions.
We already know that the beast is made up of the Serpents and the Scorpions. This verse tells us that the beast has the numbers 660 and 6 assigned to it, the definitions being Serpents and Scorpions. You can’t get any more literal than that. Numbers are to be taken literally.
And while the apostate church looks for the chip with 666 in it and looking for an antichrist whose name adds up to 666 in the Greek or the Hebrew, or any other methodology they can conjure up, it is right before their eyes but they cannot see it. Why, because they are blind, deaf, and dumb. But we, who are wise and understand these things look to the Metaphorical language and definitions to interpret the Word of God as He meant it to be interpreted by His people for we are the children of God.
Numbers are to be taken literally. Here is another example of the literal interpretation of a number.
The Metaphoric Language is just that. It is a language. A language that engages the use of metaphors to make identifications in the spiritual realm that then transforms into the physical realm in a different form than what is first seen on the pages of the Bible.
Can this language be understood and mastered by anyone? The answer to that question would be NO. Only those with eyes to see and ears to hear will be able to understand the metaphoric language. The Multitude, Serpents and the Scorpions are blind, deaf, and dumb.
They cannot hear the Truth, therefore, this will never be opened up to the Serpents or the Scorpions. Eventually, the Multitude will have their eyes opened and ear unstopped.
Ezekiel 12:2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house. (Serpents and Scorpions)
The Multitude will wake up. Right now they are deaf and blind, but their eyes will be opened and their ears unstopped.
Isaiah 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. (Multitude)
One can make some connections here and there but without the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Ghost, their comprehension will be lacking. When you are walking in Truth you have the Holy Ghost. It is He that will teach you all things.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
With eyes to see, ears to hear and the Holy Ghost to teach you all things, you may learn this language and the Bible will read in a way that you have never seen it before.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman (144,000) that needeth not to be ashamed, (144,000 are not ashamed, The Serpents, Scorpions, and Multitude will all be ashamed) rightly dividing the word of truth. (Dividing the ‘word of truth’, the Bible into the thirds of Serpents, Scorpions, and Multitude. Rightly dividing it into those three groups correctly.)
Is it possible that Timothy is telling us to study, rightly dividing the word of Truth into the proper divisions of the 144,000, the Multitude, the Serpents and the Scorpions? Using the rules of the Metaphoric Language we can rightly divide the Word of Truth.
The Lord tells us in Zephaniah that He will turn to us a pure language. The metaphoric language is just that, a pure language. A language that is incorruptible, for it proves itself out. A language that does not rely on modern translations but goes back to the original Hebrew and Greek in which it was written.
Zephaniah 3:8, 9 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: (The Tribulation and the release of the Serpents and Scorpions to do their dirty deeds) for my determination is to gather the nations, (The Seven ‘Spiritual Kingdoms’ – Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, The Kingdom of Heaven – See upcoming chapter ‘The Seven Kingdoms' - ‘Spiritual’) that I may assemble the kingdoms, (Same as the nations) to pour upon them mine indignation, (The Tribulation) even all my fierce anger: for all the earth (The apostate church) shall be devoured with the fire (The Tribulation) of my jealousy. (Because the Multitude left their first love and went ashoring after other gods) For then will I turn to the people (The 144,000) a pure language, (The Metaphorical Language) that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. (For the 144,000 will serve with one consent and the 144,000 will see ‘Eye to Eye’)
Isaiah 52:8 Thy watchmen (The 144,000) shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: (As it were a ‘new song’) for they shall see eye to eye, (Be in one accord just as the days of the apostles) when the LORD shall bring again Zion. (Sion – New Jerusalem)
You too may learn this language that has been there all along. You have been reading it yet not understanding it. It is the time of the end and the Lord has been opening our eyes and unstopping our ears that we may see and hear the Word of Truth.
It is through this language that the Lord is opening up what He is about to do. He is revealing His secret to us.
There is a Glossary of Metaphors that has been compiled over the years. It is by no means complete as there are additional metaphors to be discovered and added as time passes. Below you will find a good outline of what has been compiled thus far.
Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation (Jesus Christ) unto all them that obey him;
John 17:23 I (Jesus Christ) in them, (Followers of Jesus Christ) and thou (God the Father) in me, (Jesus Christ) that they (Followers of Jesus Christ) may be made perfect in one; (As the Remnant of Israel) and that the world may know that thou (God the Father) hast sent me, (Jesus Christ) and hast loved them, (Followers of Jesus Christ) as thou (God the Father) hast loved me.
Glossary of Metaphors
Abomination of Desolation - The Abomination of Desolation was spoken about by Jesus in the gospels warning those that see (Understand, perceive) this occur, they are to flee Judea, (Spiritual/church/Babylon) Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:14, Luke 21:20. The Abomination of Desolation is the term that is applied to the rule of the Antichrist Spirit that will indwell the Serpents and the Scorpion. The execution of the Multitude is the “Abomination of Desolation” also known as ‘Abomination that maketh Desolate”, Daniel 11:31, 12:11. We will be able to recognize it because the scripture tells us “when ye shall see”. This tells us that we will recognize it.
Asses - The asses (Jack) are a metaphor for the Serpents. They are actually wild asses that do as they please. You can find verses pertaining to this group; the wild asses of the desert, Job 24:5, the wild asses that stand upon the high places, Jeremiah 14:6, and other references, Isaiah 30:6, 32:14, Ezekiel 23:20. There is a chariot of asses that arrives as the second woe or the 6th trumpet in Isaiah 21:7.
Babylon - Babylon is the church construct that is divided into thirds in Revelation 16:19. It is comprised of three parts, the 2/3 apostate and the Multitude. Babylon’s destruction is caused by an implosion. The 2/3 apostate come upon the Multitude and destroys the 1/3. The destruction of Babylon is detailed in Jeremiah 50, 51 and Revelation 18. Babylon falls (Is fallen, is fallen) at the 5th and 6th trumpets which occur concurrently.
Border of Wickedness - The Border of Wickedness is the name the Lord has given to the area of the spiritual wickedness that the Serpents and Scorpions possess.
Beasts of the earth - The Lord tells us of celestial and terrestrial divisions of groups of flesh and the host of heaven in 1 Corinthians 15:39, 40. There are two groups of beasts of the earth. One is terrestrial; normal fleshly beasts of the earth and one celestial; the spiritual beasts of the earth. The celestial beasts of the earth are the Serpents that devour the flesh (Murder) of the Multitude, Deuteronomy 28:26, Psalm 79:2, Isaiah 18:6, Jeremiah 7:33, 15:3, 16:4, 19:7, 34:20, Revelation 6:8.
Beasts of the earth are one of the four sore judgements of the Lord, Jeremiah 15:3. The beasts of the earth are paired together with the fowls of the heaven in the verses quoted above. The beasts of the earth are also referred to as the beasts of the field and occasionally the beasts in the forest, Psalm 104.20, Isaiah 56:9, Micah 5:8. They are all one and the same.
Brass - The brass is representative of the Serpents. The brass serpent that Moses made in Num. 21:9 was constructed for those that were bitten by the fiery serpents in the wilderness, Num. 21:6. The heavens and earth above and below the Multitude will be as brass and iron, Leviticus 26:19, Deuteronomy 28:23. In Jeremiah 6:28, it states that the grievous revolters of Israel are all corrupters. They are full of slanders, they are brass and iron. The Lord esteems brass as rotten wood, Job 41:27.
Briers - The briers are the Scorpions. They are always spoken about as one of a pair, the thorns and the briers. Briers and thorns grow up in the vineyard, and Israel, which are one and the same, Isaiah 5:6, 7:23, 32:13. They come up in the rebellious house, (Revolters) Ezekiel 2:6. They mount up (Rise up) from the smoke of the pit, Isaiah 9:18, Revelation 9:2, 3. They are totally destroyed, Isaiah 10:17, Heb. 6:8.
Calves of the stall - The calves of the stall are the Multitude and can include the 144,000. The Multitude are eaten by the ones lying upon beds of ivory and stretched upon beds, Amos 6:4. The Lord (Sun of righteousness) arises with healing in his wings. (Heals the stroke of the Multitude’s wound) The 144,000 grows up like calves in the stall, Malachi 4:2. The calves (Oxen) are also seen as one of the animals that the moneychangers were selling in the temple when Jesus overturned the tables and chased them out with a whip, John 2:15.
Chariots - The chariots are the metaphoric militaristic vehicle that the Serpents and Scorpions come riding in on to crush the Multitude. The three chariots of Isaiah 21:7 are the three woes of Revelation, the 5th, 6th, and 7th trumpets. There are numerous verses speaking about chariots coming against the Multitude, Isaiah 22:7, 66:15, Jeremiah 4:13, 46:9, Ezekiel 23:24, 26:7, 26:10, 39:20, Daniel 11:40, Joel 2:5, Nahum 2:3,4, 3:2. Jeremiah 4:13 and Isaiah 66:15 state “his chariots shall be as the whirlwind.” The sound of the wings of the locusts (Scorpions) in the 5th trumpet is as the sound of chariots, Revelation 9:9.
Doves - Doves are a metaphor for the Multitude. They are the doves of the valley in Ezekiel 7:16. The doves are also seen as one of the animals that the moneychangers were selling in the temple when Jesus overturned the tables and chased them out with a whip, John 2:15, 16.
Eagle - The eagle can be a metaphor of the protection, Exodus 19:4, Isaiah 40:31, Revelation 12:14, or it can be a metaphor for destruction in the form of the Serpents, Jeremiah 4:13, Matthew 24:28, Luke 17:37. The eagles (Serpents) are gathered around the bodies of those that are taken, the ones taken being the Multitude. Matthew 24:28, Luke 17:37.
Esau Effect - The Esau Effect is the apostate church following in the footsteps of Esau in giving away their birthright. They give away their birthright to the physical Israel and the physical Jew. Through this process, they lift up the physical nation of Israel and the physical Jews as the chosen people. The spiritual Edomites blasphemy the spiritual Jews, the Multitude; who claim their spiritual birthright. This is also one of the Four Transgressions spoken about in Amos.
Fig Tree - The fig tree is a metaphor for both physical and spiritual Israel on two different layers. The establishment of Israel in 1948 is the fig tree that today’s church looks towards. The spiritual fig tree is today’s modern church. The branch that shoots forth on the fig tree are the Serpents and the Scorpions. The locusts (Scorpions) debark (Strip) the fig tree and make the branches white (Multitude) in Joel 1:7. The Lord comes upon a fig tree that is not producing any fruit (The church is fruitless) and curses it, Matthew 21:19-21, Mark 11:13, 11:20, 21. The stars (Serpents) that fall from heaven are as untimely (Unripe) figs, Revelation 6:13.
Fire - Fire is one of the two components of the 1st trumpet that burns up the 1/3rd of the trees. (Multitude) Fire is a metaphor for not only the Lord’s wrath but also the Scorpions. Fire kindles in the south forest (The Scorpions are identified as the South) and burns to the north, (The Serpents are identified as the North) Ezekiel 20:47. The Lord shall “kindle a fire” is spoken about in many verses, Jeremiah 17:27, 21:14, 43:12, 49:27, 50:32, Ezekiel 20:47, Amos 1:14. Fire is a metaphor for the devouring, consuming, and destruction of the Multitude by the Scorpions and then the Serpents.
Fishes - The Lord tells us of celestial and terrestrial divisions of groups of flesh and the hosts of heaven in 1 Corinthians 15:39, 40. There are two groups of fishes. One is terrestrial; normal fleshly fish of the sea and one celestial (Spiritual) fish of the sea. The Lord makes men as the fishes, Habakkuk 1:14.
An evil net is a metaphor for catching fish and is likened to snaring a man in an evil time, Ecclesiastes 9:12. The Lord likens the kingdom of heaven to a net cast into the sea and the catch being brought to shore. The good and the bad fish are separated from one another. The good are put into vessels and the bad are cast away, Matthew 13:47-50. In the second trumpet, 1/3 of the creatures (Fish) that had life died, (Multitude) Revelation 8:9. The fish of the rivers (Multitude) will be meat for the fowls of the heaven (Serpents and Scorpions) and the beasts of the field, (Serpents and Scorpions) Ezekiel 29:5.
Fowls of the heaven - The fowls of the heaven are again divided into celestial and terrestrial groups, 1 Corinthians 15:39, 40. The terrestrial (Earthly) birds are the birds you see every day. The celestial (Spiritual) fowls of the heaven are the Serpents and Scorpions. There are numerous passages referring to the fowls of the heaven, Jeremiah 7:33, 15:3, 19:7, 34:20, Ezekiel 29:5, 31:13, 32:4. All of the green grass of the Multitude is burned up. The grass is burned up and the Multitude is stripped of all of their possessions. The tares (Serpents and Scorpions) are also defined as grass, Psalm 92:7. The green grass is also the possessions of the rich man. The flower of the grass is equated to the grace (Goodliness) of that person, James 1:10, 11.
Hail - Hail are pieces of ice. Hail comes down at the 1st trumpet and is coupled with fire. (Scorpions) Hail is a metaphor for the Serpents. Hail was one of the ten plagues that came down upon Egypt at the time of the Exodus, Exodus 9:23. Hail comes down upon the forest, (Trees which are people, namely the Multitude) Isaiah 32:19. Hail is part of the overflowing scourge/storm that comes down upon the Multitude Isaiah 28:2, Isaiah 28:17.
Horses - Horses show up in both the 5th and 6th trumpets. The Scorpions have an appearance of horses prepared for battle. The Serpents are an army of horsemen. Horses are in many verses. Just a few verses are quoted here. A couple of these even have the horses connected to the whirlwind, Isaiah 5:28, Jeremiah 4:13, 6:23, 47:3, 51:27. A chariot of horses shows up as the first woe in Isaiah 21:7.
Iron - The breastplates of the Scorpions worn in the 5th trumpet are iron. Iron signifies bondage, Deuteronomy 28:48, Jeremiah 28:14. The heavens and earth above and below the Multitude will be as iron (Scorpions) and brass, (Serpents) Leviticus 26:19, Deuteronomy 28:23. In Jeremiah 6:28, it states that the grievous revolters of Israel are corrupters, and are full of slanders, which are brass (Serpents) and iron. (Scorpions) The Lord esteems iron (Scorpions) as straw, Job 41:27.
Israel - Israel used in the Bible is speaking about the church, both the apostate and the remnant. The verse and its context determine which group of Israel is being spoken about. The names Judah, Jerusalem, Jacob, and other names are speaking about Israel. “For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel”, Romans 9:6
Judas Cycle - The Judas Cycle is the replay of the entire betrayal and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Judas betrayed Jesus to the Scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees. (Serpents) They accused Jesus of blasphemy and brought him to Pontius Pilate who put Jesus to death.
This entire event will be replayed again with the Scorpions as Judas, the Serpents as the Scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees and the beast government as Pontius Pilate. The Multitude will be in the position of Jesus. They will be accused of blasphemy and sentenced to death for standing for the Truth through Jesus Christ.
Lambs of the flock - The lambs of the flock are the Multitude. They are the pieces of the lamb that are removed by the shepherd from the lion’s mouth, Amos 3:12. They are taken out of Samaria and Damascus in this fashion. Those that lie upon beds of ivory and stretch themselves upon couches (Serpents and Scorpions) eat the lambs (Multitude) out of the flock, Amos 6:4. The lambs (Multitude) are also seen as one of the animals that the moneychangers (Scorpions) were selling in the temple when Jesus overturned the tables and chased them out with a whip, John 2:15.

A lion is seen by the watchman in Isaiah 21:8 which is defined as a violent gathering, Strong’s 738, 717. This lion is seen at the arrival of the three chariots. (Three woes) The children of Israel will be taken out of the lion’s mouth (Serpents and Scorpions) by the shepherd (Jesus Christ) in Amos 3:12. The lion is also a component of the final beast, Revelation 13:2. There are numerous verses portraying the lion as a devourer. The devil is referred to as a roaring lion in 1 Peter 5:8. The lion can also be Jesus Christ, Revelation 5:5, the Multitude, Daniel 7:4, and the 144,000, Micah 5:7, 8
Locusts - The locusts in the 5th trumpet are a metaphor for the 1st third of the apostate that play the role of Judas. (Scorpions) They betray the Multitude for reward. They strip the Multitude of their possessions as locusts strip vegetation. They are an army of 4 types of locusts in Joel 1:4 and Joel 2:25. Isaiah 30:26
Mountain burning with fire - The mountain burning with fire in the 2nd trumpet (Revelation 8:8) is a metaphor for Babylon. It is described in Jeremiah 51:25 as a destroying mountain. It is also the mount of corruption in 2 Kings 23:13. This is where Soloman built the high places for Ashteroth, Chemosh, and Milcom. The definition for destroying mountain and mount of corruption is the same definition. Strong’s 4889
Multitude – The Multitude is the “great multitude” spoken about in Revelation 7:14. There are numerous metaphors used for the Multitude. The beasts of the field (Serpents) shall winter upon them, (Multitude) Isaiah 18:6. The Serpents (North and ice) are also associated with Core, Jude 1:11. The definition for Core is ice. Strong’s 7141
Overturn - The word overturn is used as an alternative word for overthrew or overthrow. It is directly associated with the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the overthrow of the Egyptians in the Red Sea. These were the first and second overturns. The term overturn is repeated 3 times in Ezekiel 21:27. The third overthrow is of Babylon (Isaiah 13:19) which is also the Tribulation.
Scorpions - The Scorpions as they are referred to throughout this book are actually described in the 5th trumpet as locusts with the tail of a scorpion. They are the 1st third of the apostate that betray the Multitude to the Serpents and strip the Multitude of their possessions in the role of Judas Iscariot. The Scorpions showed up in the trek through the wilderness in Deuteronomy 8:15. Scorpions are found in the rebellious house (Israel) in Ezekiel 2:6.
The Lord gives the 144,000 the power to tread on serpents and scorpions in Luke 10:19. The sting of the scorpion as when ‘he striketh a man’ is metaphorically the betrayal of the Multitude. Compare the definitions for the words striketh and betray, Strong’s, striketh 3817 and betray 3860, 1325. They are almost identical, if fact, some of the definitions match word for word. In the Old Testament the word scorpion is defined as a knotted whip or scourge, Strong’s 6137.
Serpents - The Serpents are the 6th trumpet metaphor for the 2nd third of the apostate. They are in the role of the Scribes, Pharisees, and the Sadducees. Jesus and John the Baptist referred to these groups of apostate Jews as serpents and vipers, Matthew 3:7, 12:34, 23:33, Luke 3:7. They take on the role of their father (Satan) in John 8:44, who is Leviathan. (A dragon - Satan) The Serpents also go by the names of adder(s), asp(s), cockatrices, viper(s), and dragon(s).

In one of the definitions there is the word furnished, Strong’s 4130 which links us to Matthew 22:10 which is the parable about the wedding being furnished with guests. (Multitude)
Son of Perdition - The son of perdition was Judas Iscariot, John 17:12. The future son of perdition shows up in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 speaking about the end time group (Scorpions) that goes bad. They don’t love the truth (Apostate) and have pleasure in unrighteousness. They are damned and are lost, 2 Thessalonians 2:12, John 17:12. This group is the Scorpions.

The stars fall to earth, Daniel 8:10, Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:25, Revelation 6:13, Revelation 12:4. The wandering stars are called the raging waves of the sea, Jude 1:13.
There are three constellations that are comprised of the stars; Arcturus, (Serpents) Orion,
(Scorpions) and Pleiades. (Which is comprised of seven stars and is called ‘The Seven Sisters’ which represents the ‘Seven Churches’ which is the Multitude)
Summer - Summer is associated with the Scorpions. It is hot (Fire) and dry. (Scorpions have no Truth or Living Water) In the parable of the fig tree, we are told that when its branch shoots forth and leaves appear (The beast system arises) that summer (Scorpions) is near. (Scorpions are at the door) The 5th trumpet, the Scorpions, fire and heat are on their way, Matthew 24:32, Mark 13:28, Luke 21:30. The Scorpions are the fowls of the heaven and they shall summer upon the Multitude, Isaiah 18:6. The Scorpions are also the sun and Lord will smite the summer house in Amos 3:15, just as the sun is smitten in Revelation 8:12.
Sun - The sun is a terrestrial (Physical) sun, or a celestial (Spiritual) sun. 1 Corinthians 15:40, 41 tells us that they are both. There is also a glory of the moon, sun, and stars, both terrestrial and celestial. The celestial sun is a metaphor for the Scorpions, the 1st third of the apostate. In James 1:11 the sun rises (Scorpions) and withers the grass. (Multitude) In the 5th trumpet in Revelation 9:2, the smoke that arises out of the pit darkens the sun.
Thorns - The thorns are a metaphor for the Serpents. They are always spoken about as one of a pair, the thorns and the briers. Thorns and briers grow up in the vineyard, and Israel, which are one and the same, Isaiah 5:6, 7:23, 32:13. They come up in the rebellious house (Revolters – Spiritual Israel – Today’s apostate church) in Ezekiel 2:6. They mount up (Rise up) from the smoke of the pit in Isaiah 9:18, and Revelation 9:2, 3. They are also totally destroyed in Isaiah 10:17, and Hebrews 6:8.
Trees - Trees are a metaphor for people, specifically people of the church. 1/3rd of the trees (Multitude) are burned up in the 1st trumpet. There is the fig tree which is a metaphor for Israel. (Spiritual Israel) There are two olive trees that represent the two witnesses in Revelation 11:4 and Zechariah 4:3, 11 which is the Multitude. Hail comes down on the forest in Isaiah 32:19.
Whirlwind - The whirlwind is a metaphor for the Tribulation and is the culmination of the two groups of the apostate bringing God’s wrath down upon the Multitude. There is a whirlwind that comes out of the south in Job 37:9 and a whirlwind that comes out of the north in Ezekiel 1:4. When these two collide, (Join together) the united whirlwind (Serpents and Scorpions) comes forth, Proverbs 1:27, 10:25, Isaiah 5:28, 17:13, 40:24, 41:16, 66:15, Jeremiah 4:13, 23:19, 25:32, 30:23, Daniel 11:40, Hosea 8:7, 13:3, Amos 1:14, Nahum 1:3, Habakkuk 3:14, Zechariah 7:14, and destroys the Multitude. The whirlwind is associated with the Red sea account in the destruction of the Egyptians in the definition for whirlwind. Strong’s 5492
Winter - Winter is associated with the Serpents. Winter is associated with hail (Ice – Serpents) and Core (Ice) in Jude 1:11. The Serpents are the beasts of the field and shall winter upon the Multitude in Isaiah 18:6. The Serpents are also the stars and Lord will smite the winter house in Amos 3:15, just as the stars are smitten in Revelation 8:12.
Wormwood - Wormwood is the name of a star that falls at the 3rd trumpet, Revelation 8:11. Wormwood is the bitterness that the Scorpions and the Serpents feed the Multitude. Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, (Begin the Tribulation) but he revealeth his secret (The mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven) unto his servants the prophets. (The 144,000)
May the Lord richly bless your understanding as you study His Word.
