Chapter 8A
The 144,000
The 144,000 are a part of ‘The Remnant of Israel.’ They are a group of people that the Lord raises up to be a witness to the Multitude. Their role in the end times is to teach the Multitude the error of their ways and lead them to repentance. The 144,000 are people that the Lord has chosen to be His army of Christian soldiers who stand for Truth in a dry desert (See the book “The 144,000 and the Multitude”)
This chapter will show you where the 144,000 are located in scripture, their role, and metaphorical identifications that will help you to identify the 144,000.
Before the Tribulation and ‘The End’ (See Chapter 4 ‘The Two Time Periods’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') begins, the 144,000 are sealed.
Revelation 7:1-4 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind (Tribulation) should not blow on the earth, (Spiritual Babylon) nor on the sea, (Spiritual Babylon) nor on any tree. (People) And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Then we see the 144,000 standing with the Lamb of God on Mount Sion.
Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. (Sealed)
Revelation 14:3-5 And they sung as it were a new song (See Chapter 2 ‘A Paradigm Shift’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. (Church) These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. (They have come out of the apostasy and do not worship other gods) These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: (They speak the Truth of the Lord) for they are without fault (They are clean) before the throne of God.
Mount Sion is the start of ‘New Jerusalem’. Old ‘Mount Zion’ is done away with, and new ‘Mount Sion’ is the beginning of the redeemed end times ‘Remnant of Israel’. The 144,000 have come out of the apostate church being redeemed from the earth. They are virgins not being defiled by worshipping other gods. They follow Jesus Christ explicitly following the Lamb withersoever He goes. They are the firstfruits being the first ones that are redeemed to the Lord. They are clean and have clean garments without spots or blemishes.
The 144,000 come out of the apostate church and throw down the gods that they once worshipped, i.e. Christmas, Easter, the physical Jews and the chosen people, and the rapture. The 144,000 flee or come out of Babylon and Judaea (The apostate church) and flee to the mountains. (Spiritual Sion)
Jeremiah 50:28 The voice of those who flee and escape from the land of Babylon Declares in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, The vengeance of His temple.
Jeremiah 51:6 Flee from the midst of Babylon, And every one save his life! Do not be cut off in her iniquity, For this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; He shall recompense her.
Matthew 24:15, 16 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
The 144,000 escape the judgement of the Lord when they come out of the apostate church. The following verses have been reposted from the chapter 'The Remnant of Israel' within this book ‘A Wheel Within A Wheel’.
2 Kings 19:30, 31 And the remnant that is escaped (144,000) of the house of Judah (The Church) Shall yet again take root downward, (Learn ‘This Gospel’) and bear fruit upward. (Preach ‘This Gospel of Peace to the Multitude) For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, (Multitude) and they that escape out of mount Zion: (144,000) The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.
Ezra 9:8 And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, (144,000) and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, (Multitude) and give us a little reviving in our bondage. (Multitude)
Isaiah 4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth (Multitude) shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. (144,000)
Isaiah 10:20-22 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, (Multitude) and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, (144,000) shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. The remnant shall return, (Multitude) even the remnant of Jacob, (144,000) unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, (All those that have professed they follow the Lord since the beginning of time; the good, the bad, and the ugly. The goats and the sheep) yet a remnant of them shall return: (144,000 and Multitude) the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
Isaiah 37:31,32 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah (144,000) shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward: (Multitude) For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, (Multitude) and they that escape (144,000) out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
Isaiah 45:20 Assemble yourselves (144,000) and come; draw near together (144,000) ye that are escaped of the nations: (144,000) they (144,000) have no knowledge (The 144,000 do not 'know' (Commit fornication) other gods of Christmas, Easter, the physical Jews as the chosen people, the Rapture Fable) that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
Jeremiah 50:28 The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, (144,000) to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple.
Jeremiah 51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, (144,000) go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
Ezekiel 6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, (144,000 and Multitude) that ye may have some that shall escape the sword (144,000) among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries. (Multitude)
Ezekiel 7:16 But they that escape of them shall escape, (144,000) and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, (Multitude) all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity. (Multitude)
Ezekiel 24:27 In that day shall thy (Multitude) mouth be opened to him which is escaped, (144,000) and thou (Multitude) shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou (Multitude) shalt be a sign unto them; (144,000) and they (Multitude) shall know that I am the LORD. (06412)
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, (144,000) and to stand before the Son of man. (1628)
The 144,000 come out of the apostate church (flee Babylon, flee Judea) and go to the mountains. (Mount Sion) This is the sealing. The Lord selects 144,000 to be His witnesses of the Truth in these end times. They are redeemed and are the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. They are also ‘The Bride of Christ’ as the 5 wise virgins.
Matthew 25:1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, (144,000) and five were foolish. (Multitude) They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: (No oil signifies not having the Truth because they are apostate and worshipping other gods) But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. (Truth) While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
The wise virgins had oil in their lamps and were ready for the marriage. This is also the sealing of the 144,000. The door was shut to the Multitude due to their apostasy.
The 144,000 are also the ‘few hairs’ spoken about in Ezekiel, chapter 5. This chapter speaks about the division of the church.
Ezekiel 5:1-3 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair. Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, (Scorpions) when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: (Serpents) and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. (Multitude) Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, (144,000) and bind them in thy skirts. (Sealing)
The 144,000 are found throughout the scriptures under different metaphorical identifications. . Barley is one of the many metaphorical identifications of the 144,000. Some additional metaphorical identifications are the almond tree, five wise virgins, the woman in the wilderness, workers in the field, and servants of the householder. We will take a look at these for better clarification and consistency.
Barley
Revelation 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat (Multitude) for a penny, and three measures of barley (144,000) for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil (144,000) and the wine. (144,000)
John 6:9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, (144,000) and two small fishes: (Two Witnesses - Multitude) but what are they among so many? (All of Israel – Remember ‘All Israel is not Israel)
Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Almond
Ec 12:5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, (144,000) and the grasshopper (Scorpions) shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, (Multitude) and the mourners go about the streets: (Friend, family members, and associates of the Multitude when they find out the Multitude has been killed)
Nu 17:8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. (The 144,000 are the rod of Aaron and will flourish during the Tribulation)
Jeremiah 1:11,12 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. (144,000) Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. (The Lord seals and brings forth the 144,000 to fulfill His Word)
Five Wise Virgins
Matthew 25:1-10 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, (Remnant of Israel) which took their lamps, (Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ) and went forth to meet the bridegroom. (Jesus Christ) And five of them were wise, (144,000) and five were foolish. (Multitude) They that were foolish (Multitude) took their lamps, (Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ) and took no oil (Truth) with them: But the wise (144,000) took oil (Truth) in their vessels (The Word – The Bible) with their lamps. (Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ) While the bridegroom (Jesus Christ) tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight (Beginning of the Tribulation) there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom (Jesus Christ) cometh; go ye out to meet him. (Jesus Christ) Then all those virgins arose, (144,000 and Multitude) and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us (Multitude) of your (144,000) oil; for our (Multitude) lamps are gone out. (Multitude is now in apostasy) But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us (144,000) and you: (Multitude) (144,000 have the Truth but the Multitude won’t listen to the Truth) but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom (Jesus Christ) came; and they that were ready (144,000) went in with him (Jesus Christ) to the marriage: and the door was shut. (Multitude is locked out)
The entire chapter of Revelation 12, ‘The Woman in the Wilderness’ is speaking about the 144,000 and their interaction with the different groups during the Tribulation. (See the upcoming chapter on ‘The Woman in the Wilderness’)
Woman in the Wilderness
Revelation 12 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman (144,000) clothed with the sun, (Jesus Christ ‘The Sun of righteousness’ Malachi 4:2) and the moon (Multitude) under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: (12 Tribes of Israel) And she being with child (Multitude) cried, travailing in birth, (Birthing of the Multitude) and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, (Satan) having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. (Serpents and Scorpions -See the upcoming chapter on ‘The Beast’) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, (Fallen angels) and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon (Satan with the Beast – Serpents and Scorpions) stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child (Multitude) as soon as it was born. (The Multitude is brought through the fire – Zechariah 13:8, 9) And she brought forth a man child, (Multitude) who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, (Multitude is turned in by the Scorpions and dies at the hand of the Serpents) and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, (Flees Babylon and Judea and heads to Mount Sion) where she hath a place prepared of God, (Mount Sion) that they should feed her there (Learning ‘This Gospel’ -see chapter 5 ‘The Three Gospels’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') which is also the ‘New Song’ - see chapter 2 ‘The Paradigm Shift’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') a thousand two hundred and threescore days. (1260 days) – (Listen to the series ‘Reading the Map: The Beast, The False Prophet, and the Timing of it All’ on www.thethreshingflooracademy.com) And there was war in heaven: Michael (Restrainer - Listen to the show ‘Transgression Four’ of the series ‘For Three Transgressions, and Four’ on this website www.thethreshingflooracademy.com) and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (This is when the ‘Abomination of Desolation occurs – See the upcoming chapter ‘The Abomination of Desolation’) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they (Multitude) overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, (Multitude) and by the word of their testimony; (Multitude) and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Multitude) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! (Multitude) for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted (Pursued - See the upcoming chapter ‘Eyes of the Dragon’) the woman (144,000) which brought forth the man child. (Multitude) And to the woman (144,000) were given two wings of a great eagle, (The Sealing, the Lord’s Protection) that she might fly into the wilderness, (Mount Sion) into her place, (Truth) where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, (Learning ‘This Gospel’ -See the chapter ‘The Three Gospels’) from the face of the serpent. (Eyes of the Serpent) And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, (Sends problems towards the 144,000 trying to entrap them -See the Chapter 9 ‘The Eyes of the Dragon’ within the book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, (The Lord provides answers and solutions) and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood (Solutions provided and problems resolved) which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, (144,000) and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, (Multitude) which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Workers in the field, servants of the householder
The 144,000 are the workers in the field, the servants of the householder in this next parable.
Matthew 13:24-30 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man (Jesus Christ) which sowed good seed in his field: (The church) But while men slept, his enemy (Satan) came and sowed tares (Serpents and Scorpions) among the wheat, (Multitude) and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, (Multitude) then appeared the tares (Serpents and Scorpions) also. So the servants of the householder (144,000) came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants (144,000) said unto him, (Jesus Christ) Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? (144,000) But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, (Serpents and Scoprions) ye root up also the wheat (Multitude) with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: (The Tribulation) and in the time of harvest (The Tribulation) I will say to the reapers, (Angels) Gather ye together first the tares, (Serpents and Scorpions) and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat (Multitude) into my barn. (Kingdom of God)
Jesus explains the meaning of this parable to His disciples.
Matthew 13:36-43 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; (Jesus Christ) The field is the world; (The church) the good seed are the children of the kingdom; (Multitude) but the tares (Serpents and Scorpions) are the children of the wicked one; (Satan) The enemy that sowed them is the devil; (Satan) the harvest is the end of the world; (The Tribulation) and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares (Serpents and Scorpions) are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. (The Tribulation) The Son of man (Jesus Christ) shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, (Scorpions) and them which do iniquity; (Serpents) And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: (Lake of Fire) there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous (Multitude) shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The 144,000 are also ‘the dresser of the vineyard’ in the following parable.
Luke 13:6-9 He spake also this parable; A certain man (Jesus Christ) had a fig tree (The church) planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, (144,000) Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, (The church) and find none: cut it down; (Utterly destroy the church) why cumbereth it the ground? And he (144,000) answering said unto him, Lord, (Jesus Christ) let it alone this year also, till I (144,000) shall dig about it, and dung it: (Preach and teach ‘The Gospel of Peace to the Multitude – See Chapter 5 ‘The Three Gospels’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') And if it bear fruit, well: (Multitude) and if not, (Serpents and Scorpions) then after that thou shalt cut it down. (Serpents and Scorpions are thrown into the Lake of Fire)
The 144,000 are sealed by the Lord to be ‘The End’ times messenger of redemption to the Multitude. They are the workers in the field who are the servants of the Lord. They are the dresser of the vineyard tending to the Multitude. Applying dung, (This Gospel) to the fig tree (The church but more specifically, the Multitude.)
Let’s look at more passages that pertain to the 144,000.
Matthew 22:14 For many are called, (Multitude) but few are chosen. (144,000)
Matthew 20:1-16 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, (Jesus Christ) which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. (144,000)
And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. (To tend to the Multitude) And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, And said unto them; (144,000) Go ye also into the vineyard, (To tend to the Multitude) and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, (144,000) Why stand ye here all the day idle? They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; (To tend to the Multitude) and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard (Jesus Christ) saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, (144,000) and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, (Jesus Christ) Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, (Multitude, Serpents, and Scorpions) but few chosen. (144,000, Multitude)
This parable is a teaching that has a lesson in it specifically for the 144,000 in the end times. What is Jesus telling us? The worker (144,000) that begins working at the very start of the day to the worker (144,000) that comes is at the last hour gets paid the same. (Eternal Salvation) The workers that have been doing this longer are not to expect anything more from the Lord because of their time that they have invested.
“So the last shall be first, and the first last” is telling us that we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord. None are more important than any other.
Another principle to keep in mind is that the 144,000 are chosen by the Lord to be his workers in the field, the dressers of the vineyard. The 144,000 are not any better than the Multitude when it comes to eternal salvation. The Lord needed 144,000 to fill positions that are stated in Scripture. His Word has to be fulfilled. We are not anything special other than being chosen by the Lord to fulfill scripture.
Every one of the 144,000 was at one time in their lives guilty of some if not all of the four transgressions that the Multitude will be punished for. All of us have come out of the church. All of us, including myself, have worshipped other gods, i.e. christmas, easter, believing the physical Jews were the chosen people, or the rapture. The Lord needing to fulfill Scripture had to remove us from those transgressions one by one to bring us to the point of the sealing of the 144,000.
It is the Lord that has purified us. Not by our own doing other than being willing to follow the Lamb in Truth. And when you get right down to it, He put the desire within us to follow Him. All glory goes to the Lord.
It is an honor and privilege to be chosen by the Lord to be a worker in the field. Let us be about our business of learning ‘This Gospel’ and preparing for the coming Multitude and preaching ‘The Gospel of Peace’ to a people called by the Lord who will be in desperate need of what we will be teaching them.
In the eyes of the Lord the 144,000 are equal with the Multitude in the terms of both being ‘The Remnant of Israel’. Look at this next passage speaking about both the 144,000 and the Multitude.
Revelation 6:5, 6 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; (Scorpions) and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat (Multitude) for a penny, (Eternal Salvation) and three measures of barley (144,000) for a penny; (Eternal Salvation) and see thou hurt not the oil (144,000 – the oil that the 144,000 possess in their lamps) and the wine. (144,000 – the new wine)
There are two points to bring out in this passage. First is both the wheat (Multitude) and the barley (144,000) are valued as the same. (They both receive eternal salvation)
The second point is the black horse who is representative of the Scorpions are not allowed to hurt the 144,000. We can see a second witness to that in the following passages.
Revelation 9:1-4 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: (Satan) and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts (Scorpions) upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, (Physical possessions of 144,000) neither any green thing, (Things of the 144,000) neither any tree; (Trees are representative of people, in this context it is the 144,000) but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. (Multitude because the 144,000 have the seal of God in their foreheads)
The 144,000, including their earthly possessions are protected from the reach of the Scorpions. Their lives are protected from being taken by the Serpents because they are left.
Matthew 24:38-41 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Tribulation) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, (Multitude) and the other left. (144,000) Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, (Multitude) and the other left. (144,000)
The one that is taken is the Multitude taken in judgement. The one that is left is the 144,000. They are not taken in judgement.
Luke 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, (Multitude) thither will the eagles (Serpents) be gathered together.
Where are the Multitude taken? The Multitude go to their death at the hands of the Serpents. The Serpents will be circling the Multitude ready to devour them.
Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called (Multitude) unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. (The feasting of the Multitude by the Serpents and Scorpions) And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Revelation 19:17, 18 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls (Serpents and Scorpions) that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper (Multitude) of the great God; (The feasting on the Multitude by the Serpents and Scorpions) That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. (These groups are all the Multitude)
The 144,000 go into the marriage with the Lord in the parable of the ten virgins. The door is then shut. The Multitude is called to the supper of the marriage. The supper they are called to is that they are the supper for the Serpents and Scorpions.
The Lord chooses the 144,000 and gives the 144,000 instructions. Let’s look at those instructions.
Isaiah 26:20, 21 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: (Marriage and Sealing) hide thyself as it were for a little moment, (Be invisible from the eyes of the dragon – See chapter 9 ‘The Eyes of the Dragon’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') until the indignation (The Tribulation) be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
We are not to shout this from the housetops. We are to be discreet and follow what the Lord is instructing us to do. We are to withdraw ourselves from the worldly things i.e. politics and social causes and focus on preparing ourselves for what is coming. We are to learn ‘This Gospel’ and get prepared or ‘The Gospel of Peace’.
Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
‘The Gospel of Peace’ is what the 144,000 will be delivering to the Multitude. We are to get prepared for that. ‘This Gospel’ are instructions and information on how we to get prepared. We are learning and will learn what the message is that we will be presenting to the Multitude. We know that this will happen by the following verses.
Isaiah 30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, (The Tribulation) and the water of affliction, (The Tribulation) yet shall not thy teachers (144,000) be removed into a corner any more, (The Multitude has not wanted to hear the Truth in the past and pushed off the message of coming Tribulation) but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: (See and accept the 144,000 preaching to them, ‘The Gospel of Peace’)
When the Multitude is in prison awaiting their future execution, they will be desperate to hear from the Lord. They will be willing to listen at that point. They will not push the teachers away from them anymore.
The 144,000 will heal the deaf, (The Multitude will hear) the 144,000 will heal the blind, (The Multitude will see) the 144,000 will heal the lame and the dumb. (The Multitude will be healed by the Lord Jesus Christ when they accept the Truth)
The Multitude will cleave to the 144,000 for they have the Truth and they show the path that the Lord has provided to the Multitude for their redemption.
Zechariah 8:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men (Multitude) shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, (144,000) saying, We will go with you: (Hear ‘The Gospel of Peace’) for we have heard that God is with you.
The 144,000 have a mission in the ‘The End’. They will birth the Multitude by telling them the error of their ways. The Multitude will repent of their transgressions and will accept their punishment. They will listen, hear, and embrace ‘The Gospel of Peace’. It is the 144,000 that will deliver that message. This is our role that the Lord has place upon us and we will fulfill that role.
Are you one of the 144,000 that the Lord is calling? To answer that question, you will need to abide by the following criteria. There is no vacillating on these items. These will be required to be one of the 144,000. There are six things that you must do or have done.
Firstly, you must speak and seek the Truth. The 144,000 speak no guile. They do not have a deceitful tongue. They seek the Kingdom of God and follow the Lamb withersoever he goeth.
Secondly, you can’t be in a church or attending church. The modern day church is a death trap. That is where the judgement of God abides and you don’t want to be there. You may still be going to church but you must come out now! If you are feeling the call of the Lord, leave the church and disassociate yourself from it completely.
Thirdly, you must claim your rightful heritage back. The 144,000 are spiritual Jews. The physical Jews are just that. They are a nation of people just like Africans, Europeans, South Americans, etc. They are not the chosen people. The Remnant of Israel are the chosen people. Disclaim this belief and claim your rightful heritage. (See Transgression One in the series ‘For Three Transgressions, and Four’ on the website)
Fourth, you must completely come out of Christmas and Easter. These are pagan holidays and pay homage to other gods. Throw these away like a menstruous cloth. (See ‘Transgression Two’ and ‘Transgression Three’ in the series ‘For Three Transgressions, and Four’ on the website)
Isaiah 30:22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
And lastly, throw away the ‘Rapture’. It is a false hope and a fable. There is no rapture. We are all going to go through the Tribulation; either as one of the 144,000, one of the Multitude, or as a Serpent or Scorpion. Then you can come to the Throne of Grace boldly and claim your place that the Lord has appointed you to as a worker in the field assisting in bringing in the end times harvest.
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

This chapter will show you where the 144,000 are located in scripture, their role, and metaphorical identifications that will help you to identify the 144,000.
Before the Tribulation and ‘The End’ (See Chapter 4 ‘The Two Time Periods’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') begins, the 144,000 are sealed.
Revelation 7:1-4 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind (Tribulation) should not blow on the earth, (Spiritual Babylon) nor on the sea, (Spiritual Babylon) nor on any tree. (People) And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Then we see the 144,000 standing with the Lamb of God on Mount Sion.
Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. (Sealed)
Revelation 14:3-5 And they sung as it were a new song (See Chapter 2 ‘A Paradigm Shift’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. (Church) These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. (They have come out of the apostasy and do not worship other gods) These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: (They speak the Truth of the Lord) for they are without fault (They are clean) before the throne of God.
Mount Sion is the start of ‘New Jerusalem’. Old ‘Mount Zion’ is done away with, and new ‘Mount Sion’ is the beginning of the redeemed end times ‘Remnant of Israel’. The 144,000 have come out of the apostate church being redeemed from the earth. They are virgins not being defiled by worshipping other gods. They follow Jesus Christ explicitly following the Lamb withersoever He goes. They are the firstfruits being the first ones that are redeemed to the Lord. They are clean and have clean garments without spots or blemishes.
The 144,000 come out of the apostate church and throw down the gods that they once worshipped, i.e. Christmas, Easter, the physical Jews and the chosen people, and the rapture. The 144,000 flee or come out of Babylon and Judaea (The apostate church) and flee to the mountains. (Spiritual Sion)
Jeremiah 50:28 The voice of those who flee and escape from the land of Babylon Declares in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, The vengeance of His temple.
Jeremiah 51:6 Flee from the midst of Babylon, And every one save his life! Do not be cut off in her iniquity, For this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; He shall recompense her.
Matthew 24:15, 16 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
The 144,000 escape the judgement of the Lord when they come out of the apostate church. The following verses have been reposted from the chapter 'The Remnant of Israel' within this book ‘A Wheel Within A Wheel’.
2 Kings 19:30, 31 And the remnant that is escaped (144,000) of the house of Judah (The Church) Shall yet again take root downward, (Learn ‘This Gospel’) and bear fruit upward. (Preach ‘This Gospel of Peace to the Multitude) For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, (Multitude) and they that escape out of mount Zion: (144,000) The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.
Ezra 9:8 And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, (144,000) and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, (Multitude) and give us a little reviving in our bondage. (Multitude)
Isaiah 4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth (Multitude) shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. (144,000)
Isaiah 10:20-22 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, (Multitude) and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, (144,000) shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. The remnant shall return, (Multitude) even the remnant of Jacob, (144,000) unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, (All those that have professed they follow the Lord since the beginning of time; the good, the bad, and the ugly. The goats and the sheep) yet a remnant of them shall return: (144,000 and Multitude) the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
Isaiah 37:31,32 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah (144,000) shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward: (Multitude) For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, (Multitude) and they that escape (144,000) out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
Isaiah 45:20 Assemble yourselves (144,000) and come; draw near together (144,000) ye that are escaped of the nations: (144,000) they (144,000) have no knowledge (The 144,000 do not 'know' (Commit fornication) other gods of Christmas, Easter, the physical Jews as the chosen people, the Rapture Fable) that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
Jeremiah 50:28 The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, (144,000) to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple.
Jeremiah 51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, (144,000) go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
Ezekiel 6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, (144,000 and Multitude) that ye may have some that shall escape the sword (144,000) among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries. (Multitude)
Ezekiel 7:16 But they that escape of them shall escape, (144,000) and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, (Multitude) all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity. (Multitude)
Ezekiel 24:27 In that day shall thy (Multitude) mouth be opened to him which is escaped, (144,000) and thou (Multitude) shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou (Multitude) shalt be a sign unto them; (144,000) and they (Multitude) shall know that I am the LORD. (06412)
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, (144,000) and to stand before the Son of man. (1628)
The 144,000 come out of the apostate church (flee Babylon, flee Judea) and go to the mountains. (Mount Sion) This is the sealing. The Lord selects 144,000 to be His witnesses of the Truth in these end times. They are redeemed and are the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. They are also ‘The Bride of Christ’ as the 5 wise virgins.
Matthew 25:1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, (144,000) and five were foolish. (Multitude) They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: (No oil signifies not having the Truth because they are apostate and worshipping other gods) But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. (Truth) While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
The wise virgins had oil in their lamps and were ready for the marriage. This is also the sealing of the 144,000. The door was shut to the Multitude due to their apostasy.
The 144,000 are also the ‘few hairs’ spoken about in Ezekiel, chapter 5. This chapter speaks about the division of the church.
Ezekiel 5:1-3 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair. Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, (Scorpions) when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: (Serpents) and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. (Multitude) Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, (144,000) and bind them in thy skirts. (Sealing)
The 144,000 are found throughout the scriptures under different metaphorical identifications. . Barley is one of the many metaphorical identifications of the 144,000. Some additional metaphorical identifications are the almond tree, five wise virgins, the woman in the wilderness, workers in the field, and servants of the householder. We will take a look at these for better clarification and consistency.

Revelation 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat (Multitude) for a penny, and three measures of barley (144,000) for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil (144,000) and the wine. (144,000)
John 6:9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, (144,000) and two small fishes: (Two Witnesses - Multitude) but what are they among so many? (All of Israel – Remember ‘All Israel is not Israel)
Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Ec 12:5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, (144,000) and the grasshopper (Scorpions) shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, (Multitude) and the mourners go about the streets: (Friend, family members, and associates of the Multitude when they find out the Multitude has been killed)
Nu 17:8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. (The 144,000 are the rod of Aaron and will flourish during the Tribulation)
Jeremiah 1:11,12 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. (144,000) Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. (The Lord seals and brings forth the 144,000 to fulfill His Word)
Five Wise Virgins

(Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ) While the bridegroom (Jesus Christ) tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight (Beginning of the Tribulation) there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom (Jesus Christ) cometh; go ye out to meet him. (Jesus Christ) Then all those virgins arose, (144,000 and Multitude) and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us (Multitude) of your (144,000) oil; for our (Multitude) lamps are gone out. (Multitude is now in apostasy) But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us (144,000) and you: (Multitude) (144,000 have the Truth but the Multitude won’t listen to the Truth) but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom (Jesus Christ) came; and they that were ready (144,000) went in with him (Jesus Christ) to the marriage: and the door was shut. (Multitude is locked out)
The entire chapter of Revelation 12, ‘The Woman in the Wilderness’ is speaking about the 144,000 and their interaction with the different groups during the Tribulation. (See the upcoming chapter on ‘The Woman in the Wilderness’)
Woman in the Wilderness
Revelation 12 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman (144,000) clothed with the sun, (Jesus Christ ‘The Sun of righteousness’ Malachi 4:2) and the moon (Multitude) under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: (12 Tribes of Israel) And she being with child (Multitude) cried, travailing in birth, (Birthing of the Multitude) and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, (Satan) having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. (Serpents and Scorpions -See the upcoming chapter on ‘The Beast’) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, (Fallen angels) and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon (Satan with the Beast – Serpents and Scorpions) stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child (Multitude) as soon as it was born. (The Multitude is brought through the fire – Zechariah 13:8, 9) And she brought forth a man child, (Multitude) who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, (Multitude is turned in by the Scorpions and dies at the hand of the Serpents) and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, (Flees Babylon and Judea and heads to Mount Sion) where she hath a place prepared of God, (Mount Sion) that they should feed her there (Learning ‘This Gospel’ -see chapter 5 ‘The Three Gospels’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') which is also the ‘New Song’ - see chapter 2 ‘The Paradigm Shift’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And they (Multitude) overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, (Multitude) and by the word of their testimony; (Multitude) and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Multitude) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! (Multitude) for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted (Pursued - See the upcoming chapter ‘Eyes of the Dragon’) the woman (144,000) which brought forth the man child. (Multitude) And to the woman (144,000) were given two wings of a great eagle, (The Sealing, the Lord’s Protection) that she might fly into the wilderness, (Mount Sion) into her place, (Truth) where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, (Learning ‘This Gospel’ -See the chapter ‘The Three Gospels’) from the face of the serpent. (Eyes of the Serpent) And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, (Sends problems towards the 144,000 trying to entrap them -See the Chapter 9 ‘The Eyes of the Dragon’ within the book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, (The Lord provides answers and solutions) and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood (Solutions provided and problems resolved) which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, (144,000) and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, (Multitude) which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Workers in the field, servants of the householder
The 144,000 are the workers in the field, the servants of the householder in this next parable.
Matthew 13:24-30 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man (Jesus Christ) which sowed good seed in his field: (The church) But while men slept, his enemy (Satan) came and sowed tares (Serpents and Scorpions) among the wheat, (Multitude) and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, (Multitude) then appeared the tares (Serpents and Scorpions) also. So the servants of the householder (144,000) came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants (144,000) said unto him, (Jesus Christ) Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? (144,000) But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, (Serpents and Scoprions) ye root up also the wheat (Multitude) with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: (The Tribulation) and in the time of harvest (The Tribulation) I will say to the reapers, (Angels) Gather ye together first the tares, (Serpents and Scorpions) and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat (Multitude) into my barn. (Kingdom of God)
Jesus explains the meaning of this parable to His disciples.
Matthew 13:36-43 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; (Jesus Christ) The field is the world; (The church) the good seed are the children of the kingdom; (Multitude) but the tares (Serpents and Scorpions) are the children of the wicked one; (Satan) The enemy that sowed them is the devil; (Satan) the harvest is the end of the world; (The Tribulation) and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares (Serpents and Scorpions) are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. (The Tribulation) The Son of man (Jesus Christ) shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, (Scorpions) and them which do iniquity; (Serpents) And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: (Lake of Fire) there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous (Multitude) shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The 144,000 are also ‘the dresser of the vineyard’ in the following parable.
Luke 13:6-9 He spake also this parable; A certain man (Jesus Christ) had a fig tree (The church) planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, (144,000) Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, (The church) and find none: cut it down; (Utterly destroy the church) why cumbereth it the ground? And he (144,000) answering said unto him, Lord, (Jesus Christ) let it alone this year also, till I (144,000) shall dig about it, and dung it: (Preach and teach ‘The Gospel of Peace to the Multitude – See Chapter 5 ‘The Three Gospels’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') And if it bear fruit, well: (Multitude) and if not, (Serpents and Scorpions) then after that thou shalt cut it down. (Serpents and Scorpions are thrown into the Lake of Fire)
The 144,000 are sealed by the Lord to be ‘The End’ times messenger of redemption to the Multitude. They are the workers in the field who are the servants of the Lord. They are the dresser of the vineyard tending to the Multitude. Applying dung, (This Gospel) to the fig tree (The church but more specifically, the Multitude.)
Let’s look at more passages that pertain to the 144,000.
Matthew 22:14 For many are called, (Multitude) but few are chosen. (144,000)
Matthew 20:1-16 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, (Jesus Christ) which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. (144,000)
And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. (To tend to the Multitude) And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, And said unto them; (144,000) Go ye also into the vineyard, (To tend to the Multitude) and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, (144,000) Why stand ye here all the day idle? They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; (To tend to the Multitude) and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard (Jesus Christ) saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, (144,000) and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, (Jesus Christ) Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, (Multitude, Serpents, and Scorpions) but few chosen. (144,000, Multitude)
This parable is a teaching that has a lesson in it specifically for the 144,000 in the end times. What is Jesus telling us? The worker (144,000) that begins working at the very start of the day to the worker (144,000) that comes is at the last hour gets paid the same. (Eternal Salvation) The workers that have been doing this longer are not to expect anything more from the Lord because of their time that they have invested.
“So the last shall be first, and the first last” is telling us that we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord. None are more important than any other.
Another principle to keep in mind is that the 144,000 are chosen by the Lord to be his workers in the field, the dressers of the vineyard. The 144,000 are not any better than the Multitude when it comes to eternal salvation. The Lord needed 144,000 to fill positions that are stated in Scripture. His Word has to be fulfilled. We are not anything special other than being chosen by the Lord to fulfill scripture.
Every one of the 144,000 was at one time in their lives guilty of some if not all of the four transgressions that the Multitude will be punished for. All of us have come out of the church. All of us, including myself, have worshipped other gods, i.e. christmas, easter, believing the physical Jews were the chosen people, or the rapture. The Lord needing to fulfill Scripture had to remove us from those transgressions one by one to bring us to the point of the sealing of the 144,000.
It is the Lord that has purified us. Not by our own doing other than being willing to follow the Lamb in Truth. And when you get right down to it, He put the desire within us to follow Him. All glory goes to the Lord.
It is an honor and privilege to be chosen by the Lord to be a worker in the field. Let us be about our business of learning ‘This Gospel’ and preparing for the coming Multitude and preaching ‘The Gospel of Peace’ to a people called by the Lord who will be in desperate need of what we will be teaching them.
In the eyes of the Lord the 144,000 are equal with the Multitude in the terms of both being ‘The Remnant of Israel’. Look at this next passage speaking about both the 144,000 and the Multitude.
Revelation 6:5, 6 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; (Scorpions) and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat (Multitude) for a penny, (Eternal Salvation) and three measures of barley (144,000) for a penny; (Eternal Salvation) and see thou hurt not the oil (144,000 – the oil that the 144,000 possess in their lamps) and the wine. (144,000 – the new wine)
There are two points to bring out in this passage. First is both the wheat (Multitude) and the barley (144,000) are valued as the same. (They both receive eternal salvation)
The second point is the black horse who is representative of the Scorpions are not allowed to hurt the 144,000. We can see a second witness to that in the following passages.
Revelation 9:1-4 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: (Satan) and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts (Scorpions) upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, (Physical possessions of 144,000) neither any green thing, (Things of the 144,000) neither any tree; (Trees are representative of people, in this context it is the 144,000) but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. (Multitude because the 144,000 have the seal of God in their foreheads)
The 144,000, including their earthly possessions are protected from the reach of the Scorpions. Their lives are protected from being taken by the Serpents because they are left.
Matthew 24:38-41 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Tribulation) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, (Multitude) and the other left. (144,000) Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, (Multitude) and the other left. (144,000)
The one that is taken is the Multitude taken in judgement. The one that is left is the 144,000. They are not taken in judgement.
Luke 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, (Multitude) thither will the eagles (Serpents) be gathered together.
Where are the Multitude taken? The Multitude go to their death at the hands of the Serpents. The Serpents will be circling the Multitude ready to devour them.
Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called (Multitude) unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. (The feasting of the Multitude by the Serpents and Scorpions) And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Revelation 19:17, 18 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls (Serpents and Scorpions) that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper (Multitude) of the great God; (The feasting on the Multitude by the Serpents and Scorpions) That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. (These groups are all the Multitude)
The 144,000 go into the marriage with the Lord in the parable of the ten virgins. The door is then shut. The Multitude is called to the supper of the marriage. The supper they are called to is that they are the supper for the Serpents and Scorpions.
The Lord chooses the 144,000 and gives the 144,000 instructions. Let’s look at those instructions.
Isaiah 26:20, 21 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: (Marriage and Sealing) hide thyself as it were for a little moment, (Be invisible from the eyes of the dragon – See chapter 9 ‘The Eyes of the Dragon’ within this book 'A Wheel Within A Wheel') until the indignation (The Tribulation) be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
We are not to shout this from the housetops. We are to be discreet and follow what the Lord is instructing us to do. We are to withdraw ourselves from the worldly things i.e. politics and social causes and focus on preparing ourselves for what is coming. We are to learn ‘This Gospel’ and get prepared or ‘The Gospel of Peace’.
Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
‘The Gospel of Peace’ is what the 144,000 will be delivering to the Multitude. We are to get prepared for that. ‘This Gospel’ are instructions and information on how we to get prepared. We are learning and will learn what the message is that we will be presenting to the Multitude. We know that this will happen by the following verses.
Isaiah 30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, (The Tribulation) and the water of affliction, (The Tribulation) yet shall not thy teachers (144,000) be removed into a corner any more, (The Multitude has not wanted to hear the Truth in the past and pushed off the message of coming Tribulation) but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: (See and accept the 144,000 preaching to them, ‘The Gospel of Peace’)
When the Multitude is in prison awaiting their future execution, they will be desperate to hear from the Lord. They will be willing to listen at that point. They will not push the teachers away from them anymore.
The 144,000 will heal the deaf, (The Multitude will hear) the 144,000 will heal the blind, (The Multitude will see) the 144,000 will heal the lame and the dumb. (The Multitude will be healed by the Lord Jesus Christ when they accept the Truth)
The Multitude will cleave to the 144,000 for they have the Truth and they show the path that the Lord has provided to the Multitude for their redemption.
Zechariah 8:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men (Multitude) shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, (144,000) saying, We will go with you: (Hear ‘The Gospel of Peace’) for we have heard that God is with you.
The 144,000 have a mission in the ‘The End’. They will birth the Multitude by telling them the error of their ways. The Multitude will repent of their transgressions and will accept their punishment. They will listen, hear, and embrace ‘The Gospel of Peace’. It is the 144,000 that will deliver that message. This is our role that the Lord has place upon us and we will fulfill that role.
Are you one of the 144,000 that the Lord is calling? To answer that question, you will need to abide by the following criteria. There is no vacillating on these items. These will be required to be one of the 144,000. There are six things that you must do or have done.
Firstly, you must speak and seek the Truth. The 144,000 speak no guile. They do not have a deceitful tongue. They seek the Kingdom of God and follow the Lamb withersoever he goeth.
Secondly, you can’t be in a church or attending church. The modern day church is a death trap. That is where the judgement of God abides and you don’t want to be there. You may still be going to church but you must come out now! If you are feeling the call of the Lord, leave the church and disassociate yourself from it completely.
Thirdly, you must claim your rightful heritage back. The 144,000 are spiritual Jews. The physical Jews are just that. They are a nation of people just like Africans, Europeans, South Americans, etc. They are not the chosen people. The Remnant of Israel are the chosen people. Disclaim this belief and claim your rightful heritage. (See Transgression One in the series ‘For Three Transgressions, and Four’ on the website)
Fourth, you must completely come out of Christmas and Easter. These are pagan holidays and pay homage to other gods. Throw these away like a menstruous cloth. (See ‘Transgression Two’ and ‘Transgression Three’ in the series ‘For Three Transgressions, and Four’ on the website)
Isaiah 30:22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
And lastly, throw away the ‘Rapture’. It is a false hope and a fable. There is no rapture. We are all going to go through the Tribulation; either as one of the 144,000, one of the Multitude, or as a Serpent or Scorpion. Then you can come to the Throne of Grace boldly and claim your place that the Lord has appointed you to as a worker in the field assisting in bringing in the end times harvest.
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
