The Trumpet Judgements Unveiled

Chapter 13
The Sixth Trumpet

One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. [13] And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, [14] Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. [15] And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. [16] And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. [17] And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. [18] By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. [19] For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto Serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. [20] And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship  devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: [21] Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. - Revelation 9:12-21

We now begin to take a look at this 2nd third of the apostate that are given the power to take innocent life of the Multitude under the banner of physical Israel, the chosen people. They accuse the Multitude of blasphemy and in doing so commit blasphemy of the Holy Ghost themselves. Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost is the unforgivable sin. Let’s discover what this group is all about.

...Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. - Revelation 9:14

We begin with four angels that are bound in the great river Euphrates. These four angels are presently bound. The word bound means; to bind. [1] But that’s not all. When we drill down into the under-definitions, we come to a phrase that totally captures the Serpents and what they represent.

The next sub-definition means: to beg (as binding oneself), i.e. petition, beseech, pray (to), make request. [2] This doesn’t really give us any indication yet. It is the next under-definition that holds the clue. This is quoted from the next sub-definition; “which implies a search for something hidden.” [3]

There is a direct link to the prophecies concerning Babylon in Jeremiah chapters 50 and 51. Jeremiah sends Seraiah to Babylon to read the words of the prophecy concerning Babylon. Seraiah was then to take the prophecy, binds a stone to it and casts it into the midst of the Euphrates.

And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words; [62] Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever. [63] And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it,    and cast it into the midst of Euphrates: [64] And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
- Jeremiah 51:61-64

The definition for this word bind means; to tie, physically, bind (up), (make a) conspire (-acy, -ator), join together, knit, work (treason). [4]

The definition “to tie, physically, bind (up)” brings to mind the following verse.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. - Matthew 13:30

Who are the tares? The Scorpions and the Serpents are the tares. The angels bind them in bundles. If you look at the definition for bundles, [5] you will actually find that the definition is; a bundle.

The two groups are joined together (Another one of the definitions) and are headed straight for the lake of fire to be burned.

The definition for bundle drills down and comes back to the word bound used in Revelation 9:14 in reference to the four angels that are bound in the Euphrates.

Remember we were looking at the definition for the word border pertaining to “The border of wickedness” in Malachi 1:4? We came to the root word for border and some of its definitions were; to bound (as by a line), set (bounds about). [6] How’s that for a connection?

The tares are gathered and bound together first. Then the wheat harvest is brought in.

When does the wheat harvest begin? The wheat is gathered by the Scorpions and the Serpents. At the 6th trumpet the four angels that were bound in the river Euphrates are loosed. The rising of the smoke at the 5th trumpet includes both the Scorpions and the Serpents and is the loosing of their power to now have free reign to do their damage upon Babylon.

The words, conspiracy, and treason that are found in the definition of bind up in Jeremiah 51:63 come up in the following verses and their definitions.

And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. - Jeremiah 11:9

There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. - Ezekiel 22:25

Where is the conspiracy? The conspiracy is In Judah and Jerusalem, among the prophets of Judah and Jerusalem. Where are these prophets of Judah and Jerusalem? They are located in your local churches. In Babylon there truly is a conspiracy of her prophets.

Conspiracy means; an (unlawful) alliance, confederacy, conspiracy, treason. [7]

Yes, there is a conspiracy and the working of treason in the midst of Babylon by her prophets. To have a conspiracy, you need to have a minimum of two parties; both of which are now growing. And it just so happens that an unlawful alliance is mentioned, an alliance of the lawless ones.

And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. Revelation 9:15

These angels were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year. This is likely a literal interpretation of an actual time element. The key is that they were prepared for this period of time. They are prepared in that amount of time to kill 1/3 of men, the Multitude.

The Tribulation is many times referred to as “The day of the LORD” or “The day of Christ.” The day of the LORD is 3 ½ years long or more precisely, 42 months. The feast is referencing the feast that has as its participants the fowls of the heavens and the beasts of the field that are called to the great supper of God; this being the feast of the Multitude that they will feast upon. The day of the feast of the LORD is referring to the Tribulation.

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. – Revelation 17:12

Many times the Tribulation is also referred to as an “hour.”

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. - Matthew 10:19

There is a verse in Ezekiel 38:7 that is very similar and has an added element to this preparation.

Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. Ezekiel 38:7

This has both elements of the 5th and 6th trumpets. The 6th being the direct reference pertaining to being or getting prepared. The interesting addition is the last part of this verse, and be thou a guard unto them. What is that speaking about?

If you recall in going through the 5th trumpet, the Scorpions had a definition of sentry and scout. Also, the words lay wait of Jeremiah 5:26 and one of the definitions for cage was, to watch, i.e. be on guard.

These are the Scorpions that serve as a guard for this army that is in preparation of the killing of the Multitude, the two-fold alliance. They are the lookouts or scouts acting in the role of Judas to reveal the whereabouts of the Multitude to the Serpents.

And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. - Revelation 9:16

This army is; an armament, a body of troops, army. [8]

The next definition gives us a more definitive glimpse into the make up of this army.

The sub-definition means; to serve in a military campaign; figuratively, to execute the apostolate (with its arduous duties and functions), to contend with carnal inclinations, soldier, (go to) war(-fare). [9]

This phrase “to execute the apostolate (with its arduous duties and functions)” is actually a two-fold execution. First, let’s find out what an apostolate is. An apostolate is; the office, duties, or period of activity of an apostle. [10]

On one hand, the Serpents are a religious army that executes or performs the duties and functions of an apostolate. They have a religious fervor that drives them. It is however, not the Lord Jesus Christ that is their God. You might even call them an anti-apostolate. In fact, isn’t that what an antichrist is, “An opponent of Messiah?”

On the other hand, these anti-apostolate literally execute the true apostolate, the Multitude.

We’re still drilling down through these definitions. The next definition means; the celestial luminaries, host. [11]

We are coming full circle again with this definition. The celestial luminaries and host are referring to the spiritual celestial bodies, they being the sun, moon, and stars. The Serpents are spiritually embodied as the stars. And in the next definition the stars are directly inferred.

This last definition that we will examine concerning the army in defined as; to strew, i.e. spread (as a carpet or couch), make bed. [12]

This definition is the same definition that is used as a sub-definition for the word stars. This word has indeed come full circle. There are a couple of interesting notes about this definition. The phrases spread as a carpet or couch, and make bed brings to mind the following verse that has couch and bed contained within it.

That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall; - Amos 6:4

The word stretch in Amos 6:4 has as one of its definitions spread. [13] The army of stars (Serpents) spread themselves. There are all kinds of hooks once you start exploring the definitions of these words. Lie has as one of its definitions ravish. [14] Bed has as one of its definitions, a bed for sleeping or eating. [15] Its next definition down means; to stretch or spread out. [16]

These armies of horsemen (Serpents) are the ones eating, or ravishing “the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall.”

... the army of the horsemen... Revelation 9:16

Let’s now look at a passage that has a large army coming against a place called Tyrus. Notice how closely this parallels the destruction of Babylon in Jeremiah, chapters 50 and 51. It parallels very closely, because that is what Tyrus is. It is the Multitude portion of Babylon. It is another shifting identity. Once you can understand the players and the elements involved, you can identify them more quickly and accurately.
